He stood out to me in the first game. Didn't know who it was but I said to my mate that number 28 is everywhere. Didn't even realise it was a striker at the time, later realised it was him. I rarely notice opposition players at City games particularly but he was an exception.
Yep spot on. This board gets really childishly over the top sometimes and this Allsop thing is one example.
I can remember him making a save against Boro. Can’t remember any more off the top of my head but I’m sure he must have pulled a few off.

Apparently he's making 2.8 saves per 90 which isn't a whole heap but is a lot more than 0. The same site claims he's on less than 10k a week. While likely rubbish, I don't think that'd be a million miles away and underlines he really is just a cheap stop-gap.
Not much you can read into saves anyway, or goals against. It’s like looking at shots on target and goals scored. 10k is quite a decent wage for a non parachute club, I think I’d be disappointed if he was in that much. 5-6k maybe.
For non parachute clubs? There are some mental wages getting paid in this division that will make the average massive, but without parachute payments I doubt many are turning over more than £20m. In which case 10k + whatever bonuses and benefits are paid, is quite a decent wage for one person. I doubt we’d find anyone to take over his contract at that price anyway.
