I'm jealous, I would would love to watch it again for the very first time. Watched it many times. The Pacific is also very good if you haven't seen it, imo easily on par of not better but doesn't get the same plaudits.
Got the box set. Always meant to get "the Pacific" box set too. There's another due this year apparently "masters of the air".
You have just reminded me about reading something along those lines. See its apple tv+, I might have to activate the 3 month trial I keep getting offered. Always say if it wasn't for my kids using netflix and Disney regular I would cancel a subscription once I watched a few things and then go to the next. As it stands I have netflix, disney+, prime (which I use for next day delivery as much as anything so would cancel), amazon music and audible. Still probably all cheaper than sky like!
I'm not subscribed to owt. The kids (grown up) have amazon shìte, and daughter gets Disney fer grandson. Think one has netflix anarl. I've watched odd things. Walking dead and mandalorian. But tbh I don't really watch much. Just watching the persuaders on Freeview mind
It is though isn't it ? I won't touch the fookers , well apart from buying the eldest grandson a keyboard one Christmas as it was a decent deal and saved me miles of travel to a music shop that stocked it. But needs must. Billionaire tax evading (insert offensive description) nob. Treats workers like shìt, no union. (Mike Ashley on crack) Rip off shìte unless your savvy and do your homework. Pc snowflake bullshìt programmes on their tv channel. Shove their Amazon up their shìt creek.
When I watch things like this, Vera or Fool Me Once I genuinely think I could be an actor if that is the standard these days. Wooden, monosyllabic, emotionless people reading lines.
Watched 1st episode of the 2nd series of The Tourist last night. It could go one of 2 ways (great or ****e) but there were some hilarious scenes (not sure if intended). Am leaning towards it being ****e like everything else.
Did you see the first series? I quite liked it but started the second and the move to Ireland has killed it a bit. It's definitely supposed to be funny in an absurd kind of way.
Yeah. 1st series was good. This has had such a weird start I wonder where it's going. Will give it a couple more episodes...
I haven't given the second a go yet but enjoyed the first. All apart from one bit, one tiny little bit that wanted to make me put my foot through the telly! Main character irish bloke gets in a car then realises he can't drive it cause he can't drive stick! Well first things first the bloke has lost his memory how the **** does he know! But more important he is Irish so he wouldn't call it driving stick he it would be ****ing driving and he would be able to ****ing do it. Can't drive stick **** me, I know it was needed to progress their story together as she then drove him but ****ing load of ****! How many people pass their test but can only drove automatic UK and Ireland? Must be 1% at most and I'm not having it a bloke in his 30s would only know how to drive automatic.
Post your thoughts on here if you can be arsed mate, I (and possibly rooch) would carry on with it if it picks up.
Watching the re run of World On Fire, BBC iplayer., saw it first time around , but warming up for the second series, its hammers along at pace and has some superb acting in it, and a reminder of how lucky we are.
Probably the worst thing I’ve had to watch ( the missus ) is Revenge. Has to be the biggest pile of s hite ever put on the tv.
It took me about halfway through the first series of Game of Thrones to get into it and start enjoying it, took that long to figure out who was who and wtf was going on. I am dense though.
