that is true. however I do not believe in Mercedes that much that the car won't be another dog. mercs relied on power for for too long and Hamilton regularly comments on the narrow window and twitchy nature of its set up while winning easily. the last years showed a team with a fundamental lack of understanding so they are playing catch up. their main asset is Hamilton making few errors and going forward in races when they can. certainly not Russell and calertainly not their Conservative race strategy. for me all cars should be converging in terms of quali and race pace as this set of regs is locked in. any car thats not on the money will be well back down the grid.
Would be good to see him win it next year just to put two fingers up to Irvine and also someone to break this stranglehold that Verstappen and Red Bull has on Formula 1 for the past few seasons.I wouldn`t mind anyone really, but when it comes down to the nitty gritty I can only think of Lewis who has the guts to really challenge him and take him on in a wheel banging dog fight race.
right now if I were betting it'd be norris, alonso or Hamilton but not all over the entire season. ferrari to completely mess the car up again. just don't see them getting it right. I strongly suspect I'm being optimistic about the copycats at Aston and mclaren.
Suzuka is under threat now, with Osaka raising the idea of a street race there for the Japanese Grand Prix. No,please not another street race !!!!
Yep , good driver* , happy to be obvious number two , take the money girls . Think that was the year of. “ **** , where are his tyres “ * Grade a **** of a person , but he didn’t care .
Never had anything against Irvine. He's always got a little bit of a place in my heart for when he was helping to dig Burti out of the tyre wall at Spa 2001 after their coming together. Nasty crash that, I thought he was a gonner.
I’ve heard a couple of things about him that IMHO make him sound obnoxious , in fairness though , what you saw was what you got with him .
I thought you were joking! I had to check, and I saw that the new team name is Visa CashApp Racing Bulls. It sounds like a Japanese high school basketball team.

That`s Catalunya. gone, another true race track off the calendar for the sake of the streets of Madrid. Madrid has been confirmed as joining the calendar from 2026 after signing a long-term deal. Although, it is a semi- street circuit as parts are iinto true track parts.
I don't really like Barcelona TBH but to you on another street track is just saying they don't want racing they want shows and parties. Street circuits gets the celebs to the night clubs quicker. but its lousy for actual race going fans (utter scalping) and for tv fans too. meanwhile the fia have basically sold the future of motor sport (e categories) to the Saudis.
Truly awful. Miami-esque in that it's not even in a scenic location. It's in the outskirts of Madrid and resembles an industrial estate.
