You have a point there. He was "eccentric"
    Don't remember Scott Thompson

He would have been proud of the Watford goal, right up his street.

We should try Allsop upfront in the cup game, they won’t see that coming!

He’s great with his feet. Not so great with his hands. If we could combine Allsopp with Ingram - we’d have a fantastic keeper.

I think it’s a bit more than that! Speed of thought, seeing runs and being able to just ping it round sub consciously with half a seconds notice. A bit like Seri or Huddlestone.

Disappointing to be honest. Physically not strong enough for this leave. League 1 is his level it seems. Maybe your gaffer can get more out of him than ours did.

So you want Ingropp. Knowing our luck, we’d end up with Allam. ****, it’s their revenge.

He is probably one of the worst shot stoppers I’ve seen at this level, Marshall was better and quite convincingly too.

I’m struggling to think of a worse shot-stopper for City in recent memory than Allsop. Good with his feet but he’s so **** at everything else a keeper should be.

Maybe not 5 seasons, but something tells me that perhaps the expectation would reasonably have been a little more than 4 and a bit months as our No. 1?
Rosenior wanted to bring 'his man' in. A poor decision. Just another waste of time, effort and money, and opportunity cost.

I’ve been a big advocate for Allsop’s ability with the ball. I agree that we look a lot more dynamic on the ball with him in net.

Theres only one keeper worse than him in terms of goals conceded vs expected goals conceded and that’s Wednesdays keeper Dawson. I’m pretty sure with an average shot stopper we have 6 more points maybe more

Not if he was about 5th choice on our list and a stopgap, no.

Reckon they lost out on a couple of others so went with a low cost option with the idea to revisit this window.

He certainly didn't cost a lot. Reckon Ingram will probably go this window or next to fund Pandur.
