Did someone not say on here unless I’m mistaken that he’d be in charge of those up the road by the end of the window

    Please let it happen.

Still a brilliant character but never moved with the times. He’d be a beautiful, expensive disaster.

They’d lap it up like Rafas hoop.

I hope he doesn't go there because I actually quite like Mourinho.

It'll be a bit like when Ruud Gullit went there as manager. One of my favourite players ever and he went there. I was gutted.

Seen him in the MetroCentre when he was there he was an absolute hulk of a man.

What a player, was that generation that made me fall in love with the game.

Me too. My folks had some friends who lived in Holland (the fella was Dutch) so I got taken there a lot. Watched Euro 88 in Holland with a Dutch bloke and it clearly made an impression on me. Still love the Dutch team now.

One of my best pals Kenny is Dutch, he took me to a Feyenoord game few years back and it was absolutely crazy. One of the wildest cities, crowds and atmospheres you can imagine.

The stadium is crazy almost feels like it’s about to collapse with the movement. They are a wild bunch the Dutch and my god they have produced some players.

Gullit, Van Basten, Rijkard, Bergkamp, Sneider, Van Persie.

Players you’d pay to watch every day if the week (and that’s a tiny snapshot)

I've never been to a Dutch game and I'd love to. Went through a spell of doing foreign games and did a load of places but never got round to Holland.

Been a few never got to an Ajax game bizarrely but we did go Sparta Rotterdam and I think the other was Groningen, randomly.

Been to loads in Germany, Hamburg being my favourite was incredible. City, stadium, fans, wonderful city.

Loads in Spain when I lived there used to go to all the Malaga games but we went to a load across the country, went Betis a few times and love them they my adopted Spanish team, closest thing to English fans in Spain.

Went to a Lyon game at the Gerland before it was closed and that was class as well, lairy bunch, and Marseille before they developed stadium got burned to ****. Great city but always that fear of being stabbed ha.

Totally different experience in every country.

    Close enough. Haha.

Mind confuse them to a fan of either and you likely get chinned, they are a different level of rivalry then 2 clubs it’s absolutely bitter and pure hatred.

I've done Greece, Belgium, Germany, and Bulgaria. Always met different people and had a few laughs but it's definitely different in each place. Olympiakos was laugh- got a ticket from a bloke who claimed to be a Gate 7 Ultra but probably wasn't! Got cornered by Club Brugge hools simply for being English. That was after jumping on tables to Eurodance with some friendlier Club Brugge fans. Mad taxi dash across Sofia after shouting at a man on the reception desk at Slavia Sofia's ground because the game had been moved.
All of the lads I used to go with are harder to organise into going these days. Although the plan was always to go to Boca Juniors v River Plate one day.
