Was talking about when he first joined, not when he went. I think him going was the right thing but understand those with different opinions. I saw very little support when he joined. And even less after his first 5 or 6. Have a look at the Mowbray so far thread! Loads on there wanting him gone, in almost exactly the same way they do Beale

The exciting attacking football has gone, it hasn't been as good this season but for the last 10 - 15 matches its often been slow, predictable and lacking ideas.

Is any of it down to teams knowing what to expect now or is it a change in tactics?

Well, I was content when he, Mowbray, first joined but I'd say there are far many more want Beale gone, I gave him 6 months after the first couple of games but revised it last week to before Easter at this rate. I've seen too many of this type over my support to know a loser when I see one.

Just my thoughts, but could this be a possible flaw in 'the model'?

If you only change the head coach and not the coaching team, things will eventually stagnate and the same mistakes, ineffective coaching and tactics and poor decision making will continue.

Perhaps there is something to be said for changing more than just the head coach when things begin to decline?

I agree, but I think KLD and Speakman will see this the same as they do the manager and change them if they aren’t happy. They’ve never said they won’t change the coaching team.

I have to agree with what you say. I will support whoever is in charge and I make my own mind up as to whether or not I like their style but I have to say that at Ipswich on Saturday the amount of anti Beale stuff was incredible given the guy has only been here a few weeks. At times he hasn't helped himself mind with some of his subs Saturday being a prime example but he appears to have many more supporters against him than other managers have had in the past at such an early stage.

His subs and timing were shocking at Ipswich. The whole feel about Beales appointment just doesn't sit well with me from sitting on his arse in the technical area for vast periods, to how he has narrowed our play to how he says we have a style of trying to implement a style.. Pray Michael, just what style it your trying to bring???????

Agree with the subs at Ipswich. Rusyn was brought on within a minute of the supporters singing we want a striker. Wonder if he would have made that sub as he wasn't warming up and then giving Burstow a couple of minutes at the end was just shocking. There does appear to be a lot of toxicity surrounding him and his appointment.

Sitting deep at the beginning of the start of the second half had alarm bells ringing for me and the lad....the subs compounded the whole game.

Agree with the start of the 2nd half but it's strange that such fine margins decide the game. Adil should have scored putting us ahead and if he had I really believe we would have gone on to win. However he didn't and that was that. Could just feel it coming.

Yep your right... The time he should have pushed the lad in the back, shortly before he gave away the foul leading to their second, was in the other half against their defender, in the corner flag. That to show we were still plugging away. Not in our half. That is a football basic. Foul in their half , jockey in ours .

Agree with the foul for their 2nd but by it was terrible defending also. No one attacking the ball as defenders. Unbelievable.

The "model" should also be monitoring the coaches and developing or replacing them as required.
The data should give the answer

I posted I had reservations about his appointment and after the Ipswich game I'm not too impressed.
But hopefully he proves me, you and others wrong.

At the moment I feel like we are just seeing out the rest of the season.

I hope someone at the club realises that some fans feel this way
