Premier League statement please log in to view this image Premier League Everton FC and Nottingham Forest FC have each confirmed to the Premier League that they are in breach of the League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR). This is as a result of sustaining losses above the permitted thresholds for the assessment period ending Season 2022/23. In accordance with Premier League Rules, both cases have now been referred to the chair of the Judicial Panel, who will appoint separate Commissions to determine the appropriate sanction. Commissions are independent of the Premier League and member clubs. The proceedings are heard in private with the Commissions’ final decisions made public on the Premier League’s website. The League will make no further comment until that time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Luke Edwards asking the question "why should Everton be punished twice" ? they should be and the second punishment should be greater than the first If not, then there is no deterrent for anyone else
Lol could they actually be docked more points? Burnley and Luton are still so **** that Everton will stay up
Yes they can and ti make matters more amusing they can do so very quickly ie this season. Another 10 points would be interesting
The thing is as much as we hate Everton it's not good for clubs trying to compete .. like Newcastle for example. FFP is now all of a sudden being dealt with ruthlessly and following Newcastle 18 months struggle for the takeover it's hardly surprising.
Don't spunk ****ing hundreds of millions on ****e players and then start construction on a stadium you can't afford. Simple really
I found it hilarious that one of Everton’s excuses is that they spent all the money on a stadium to make the PL more glamorous
Everton were being investigated at the same time as Forest, so fingers crossed that the same thing is imminent for the blue ****e. Although I assume it'll be more than 4 points for Everton cos of multiple offenses.
