I played rugby. When I did play football it was at the back. I adopted the Joe Dwyer philosophy. The ball may go past or the man may go past, but both never go past together.
I remember that match but not for your question but Earnsaws 4 goals. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/3083926.stm
what we'd give for a player of Earnie's class right now in fact this team below with Kav leading would be sitting comfortably in the play-offs today with a good chance at the autos Cardiff: Alexander, Weston, Vidmar, Collins, Barker, Robinson, Boland, Kavanagh, Langley, Earnshaw, Thorne. Subs: Margetson, Bonner, Bowen, Croft, Gordon
Plenty of entertainment that season - going to NP was something get enthused about unlike now going to CCS and being lucky if we see a shot on target
Are you referring to the '3' yellow cards match that happened??? Can't remember who it was between and who the dumbass ref was though I'm afraid?? EDIT: Can see you told us already now..... Wake up McFly... Duh...
Ebou Adams sent off just before half time for an off ball challenge in Gambia's 3.0 defeat by Senegal. Should ensure he's fit when he comes back to us.
Could be playing these two next season - if we can stay up............. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67978537
What I don’t understand is why Everton’s appeal can’t be heard until near the end of the season. Of course you have to get as many points as possible but surely the appeal can be heard earlier so they know exactly what they are playing for.
Since last year's adventure to the top of Scotland, I've decided to adopt Wick Academy as my second team. Frying pan to fire
And I don't understand why they don't get on with Manchester City's case with more than a 100 charges. I guess it's all to do with Man City's owners having deep pockets to fight their corner. They may well have won everything worth winning but to my mind they have cheated their way to the top.
