    great film

    Denzel is just supreme

I’ll ask her if she’s in the mood…last time she wasn’t init when I proposed watching Fences..said it’s too emotional…to which I agree..you got to be in the mood to deal with the role he plays

True Detective back but think I'll wait until most episodes are available. Can't be bothered with this one a week nonsense anymore.

Discovered a comedy show called Loudermilk on Nettyflix.

Binged the first series, it's brilliant.

Thought it was really good and loved the ending, parody of modern life and what's important.

It wasn't trying to be a parody though. It was delivering some serious message but all very predictable.

And wtf did the animals have to do with anything. Some random attempt at nature's spiritual deep ****.

Mahershala Ali is a very good actor though. All the 4 main characters were tbf.

Yeah lots wrong with it but I liked the way the audience was put in the same position as the characters where you continuously wondered what was going on. And then there's the youngest girl who has one purpose regardless of what is going on, she really doesn't care and this reminded me of the youth today and maybe a certain something that happened where the young people of the world withdrew further into their universe while the rest of us worried and wondered what was going on. Then it finishes at the safe place with everything you need to sit and forget and see what happened to Ross and Rachel over and over and over again.

I'm not so sure it was trying to deliver the serious message most think it was but I might be giving it too much credit. Surely the disaster could be anything and that is why we don't get to see it until the end. I also don't think they should have shown what they see at the end, their expression should have been enough.

Just forget that and watch Loudermilk.

About a cynical bastrd who runs a support group for ppl getting over substance abuse. And shares a flat with a bloke who's like the flatmate out of Something About Mary.

For an American show it's pretty fcking original and funny.
