yeah but so? thier next 3 are burnely, Brentford and Everton. do you really expect them top drop a single point there? we have Bournemouth, Chelsea and arsenal which are actually tougher games and if we come out with 7 I'd be happy. never mind 9. hence we can't start talking city will run away with it if they get their nose in front. we have good run from these 3 up to playing city and imo we need a big effort and run up to thst city game
exactly the result we want. no 1 objective is to secure top 4 as soon as possible. we've two ways to go, win as many as possible in the next 8 to 10 or watch spurs do a spurs without son etc. I'd as soon see us go on that run and be totally free to just go for it without looking over either shoulder at spurs or villa.
this is win/win for me. worse case spurs win and we all laugh at ten haag. Best case utd win and we shrug an say spurs are further back from us.

You’re obviously watching a different match to me, Once Tottenham scored at the beginning of the second half, they dominated possession, and truthfully should have won the match. They broke well through Utd’s midfield but showed they have very few proper goal scorers.
they might be struggling. spurs need a uefa favour from other clubs to get a top 5 slot. it'd be very spurs to finish 6th in a 4 horse race as it were.

so Everton were 20 mil over for the 3 years and are now again in breach another season on. 19/20 covid but now out of the numbers 20/21 covid 21/22 took in more money than spent in market 22/23 again had positive net spend so they must be losing money hand over fist in 20/21 they had 350mil losses they tried write everything off to covid in some form of actuall that clearly didn't wash and still doesn't wash with the prem I'd assume they will be very close again next season if they should survive.
