There's a (potentially unsubstantiated) rumour going around saying that Deki could miss the match because he's ill Probably ignore it until the lineup is announced
Ffs we can’t catch a break! Defence back to full strength but that midfield is dogshit. Not including bentancur obviously
We have absolutely nothing on the bench. Only 8 players and 2 of them are goalkeepers. If Sessegnon is injured again he should do the decent thing and just announce his retirement with immediate effect.
United's team is utter gash on paper. Quite remarkable to think it is possible to spend £1billion and still end up fielding a team that wouldn't look out of place in a relegation battle.
Still reckon they will turn us over today. We rarely get anything at old Trafford and looking at our team I’m not at all confident. Full strength I would really fancy our chances. Even just having Kulu would make a massive difference. Skipp and Hojbjerg really need to step up today
Romero needs to not be a dick today and not make any rash challenges. They will definitely be targeting him and Fernandez particularly. In fact I predict that little c*nt will get him sent off
My concern is Romero being rushed back too soon. As for the subs, will Donley now be given the chance to have a serious run-out today (may be forced if Man Utd are running riot) .
Hojberg just needs to put himself about in MF, and not venture too far forward. Skipp I trust to bring the ball forward to Bentancur fast enough.
Definitely feels risky throwing both Romero and van de Ven in after long injuries. I suppose there’s also a risk in starting Dragusin seeing as he just joined but he played 9 days ago for Genoa and hadn’t missed a game for them either. Skipp-Berg midfield… in 2024… eurgh. That’s where Utd will likely win the battle, Eriksen and Fernandes vs Skipp-Berg and a 75% Bentancur is potentially rough viewing, gonna need Bentancur to try and overcompensate for the other two without overdoing it at the same time and ****ing himself up again.
The full backs will be absolutely crucial today. Also hoping Werner rolls back the years with a real 'up yours' to Chelsea. I'm predicting we dominate play and creates lots of chances but miss them all and then get sucker punched by a dodgy 93rd minute Bruno penalty.
not sure whether this is an RCL or not, but this is genuinely what I see happening. Perhaps not in injury time, but a fernandes penalty late in the game.
Nah it's a genuine prediction. That front 3 has maybe a dozen goals a season in them cumulatively. It's a shame as Villa dropped points today but I can't see us getting anything unless Porro and Udogie play absolute blinders.
