A pretty good half from us. Colback has been excellent and had no choice but to take a booking after Clarke Salter played yet another poor pass. He's usually very good on the ball, but today he's been poor. For those complaining about us playing out, almost all of our good play has come after beating the press by playing out. Almost every time we've gone long and high, we just give them the ball back. We definitely should play more long balls into space for Armstrong though, as he has them worried. As usual, we just don't look like scoring and Dykes is just woeful.
Not much to get excited about. Still, if we win it will be wonderful. If we had a striker we would beat teams like Twatford 9 times out of 10. Dozy will be coming on now!
Only seen bits but looks a poor game that we’re holding our share of it for the draw. Big question is can we come out better for the second half, because we haven’t for a little while, and we’ll need to if we want to get those valuable 3pts. Big 45-50mins ahead.
Thank you Col... I thoughtbthevrest of you were watching a different match. This is miles better than Cardiff. Colbackbhas made a difference...and his yellow was caused by Clarke-Salter. He won't last more than 60...but he is OK. Armstrong is pressing well and Chair would have had a tap in without an excellent last foot from Watford. Willock was probably through without a foul on the edge.
I’d Take Willock off and bring Smyth on on the right, Willock has been pretty much non- existent and I think Smyth’s pace along with Armstrong’s will really put them under the cosh, especially with two of their back 4 booked
Lots of huff and puff but a sterile first half. Too many passes going astray in promising positions. Sinclair certainly enjoying himself but Dykes really cumbersome at times. I hope Cif doesn't make some of his pointless subs that gift the opposition some openings. Watford not really looked that much but I expect them to be a lot more threatening 2nd half. Let's hope we can nick a jammy one...
If he doesn’t hook Colback we might as well play with ten. Willock basically walking too when Smyth could do something. This is an almost must-win so got to get Bonner and Smyth on for me.
Colback has committed so many fouls he could have been off by now. Unless subbed he's almost a certainty for a red 2nd half.
I know a few won't agree with this, but we miss Dozzell here. He's basically the only midfielder who can accurately pass and find creative passes.
Feed is great,thanks, on the phone have to keep it in portrait mode, as on landscape cannot see the whole screen. Just de-iced my now frozen driveway, after having scooped off all the slush at 11pm last night {+7C to -2C) before it froze again. Going to try out feed on my 13 year old Windows 7 laptop for the 2nd half.
