Don't get it me. Some are coming round for the recruitment issue when it was debated at the time and I hounded. We have signed 12 players and only 1 is in the team. It's terrible recruitment. Needs to be better. Issue I have is that we , IMO have went backwards in the head coach department too.

Or we could just say it's all mint. Haway the lads and that. But that's not the reality is it. Plus, it's just debating points on here, the point of the forum surely.

Most of said that we were a striker and cdm short we just accept that we’re generally progressing as a club and might lose some matches on the journey.

The summer window was a joke for me. Bishop a cheap singing who was never gonna challenge Patterson. He knows he won’t be dropped without serious competition. Don’t get me started on the centre forward situation. Did we really need Aouchiche? He’s clearly a 10 from what I’ve seen. I rate him but I think he’s just another who was cheap/available that we could make a few quid on in the future. Being played wide also. Dack? Clearly to keep Mowbray happy. Waste of a wage. Crying out for a CDM. Just a bit of experience in the middle of the park. Frustrating as ****.

I agree but yesterday Jobe could and possible should have been hooked before halftime... Theres no urgency or a tackle in him and there should be! As a basic.at least.

I watched that game and on 45 minutes there was little to choose between the two teams , similar to our home game against Boro, the referee determined the result .

Agree re Jobe. I wouldn't have started him but half time would have been the hook for me too.

Of course it's frustrating. But if we're frustrated, do you not think Speakman and the recruitment team are frustrated that they can't get players for those positions? It's this idea that we know better than the professionals that I can't get over. Should they sign any old **** to stop us feeling frustrated?

Wonder what some of our current supporters would make of Charlie Hurley's first two games.
They'd want him shot, but that didn't turn out too bad.

Nobody has said that and it certainly isn’t the answer. It’s clear as day the recruitment of late has been poor though. Let’s see what Speakman delivers this month…

And you missed the great block by o9? And still harp on about something to hit him with? Or just ignore anything good he does?

We haven't got a balanced squad, so in that respect the recruitment hasn't been right. But the attitude seems to be that the recruitment people don't know what they are doing. Which is clearly bollocks. We haven't signed a centre forward or defensive midfielder because the right players haven't been available. They aren't going to say "here's a big no. 9 who fits our profile, we can afford, and would like to come the club but let's ignore that and sign another no. 10". To think that is the case defies all logic.

No, I liked numerous comments from people who feel the need to mention every time he does something ie makes a tackle or plays a 10 yard pass. It was a good block but it was just about the only thing he done all night.

If I recall correctly, we lost his first 3 games conceding about 16 goals in the process! Thankfully it was all uphill for him thereafter.

Sadly I agree totally with the bold bit!! And I agree A is not an option. Speakman, who a lot want gone, signed most of the players we now have on the pitch. Clarke, Roberts, Bellingham down to him. Signed Auchiche who was very highly rated at PSG. Ballard who is one of the best players in this division. Cirkin, Alese etc.

But he is being judged on our current results! I’m certainly not sure about Beale, but what’s the point in getting on his back as you’re getting on young players backs too, and the likes of Clarke etc will think “why play in front of hostile fans like that”. Pointless

You dig at people who feel the need to mention every time he does something good, yet every time he does the opposite you have to mention it? Or even make something he has no involvement in about him? FFS, the irony of your comment is embarrassing
