Fair enough. Some will disagree but I think we’ve been garbage under Beale. Really poor without any sort of threat (other than Clarke).

There's a non-league side I've watched a few times this season with a similar squad to ours (no big no. 9). They play a 343 which allows them to make the pitch as big as possible when pressed. Their front three are all fast and tricky (see Clarke, Rusyn, and Ba for example). In centre mid they play a physical presence and a lad with a wand of a left foot who drops bombs in behind the defence when they step up for the front three to run on to. With the ability they have up front they can also build through the thirds if they need to. I think we could do something similar.

The stats and data back that statement up too TBH.

Jobe and Pritchard can not do high press. Wasn't surprised they were both hooked. They could and possibly could have come off earlier.

There seems to be two options here.

    A) We campaign to get Beale out, Speakman out and, for some, KLD out.

    B) Support the players who need to work with the coaches who'll sort out our best formation, tactics, etc, and get us playing as well as we can.

In my opinion option A isn't going to happen, especially as we're knee deep in a transfer window. Beale may go but not until we can no longer make 6th place.

It's all very well people writing off our team and, with it, the season. With almost half left, signings to arrive and people with SCs and travel plans made that's not reasonable. We'd be enraged if the team simply gave up so I don't feel inclined to do.

I was sickened yesterday but we have a game on Friday and a week to prepare ...

... can we beat Hull, yes, do all the fans want us to, not sure.

You believed he’d be a failure before he was announced. You and others weren’t gonna give him a chance regardless. TM last 10 games were ****, do you think we should’ve kept him. Neck on the line, I think Beale will succeed here if given a chance, but I think it’s more likely he’ll be driven out by so called supporters with unnecessary hatred for him.

I noticed some saying Pritchards anger towards MB coming off was a sign of the players feelings towards him. Pritch always looks narked to **** when he’s taken off but all of a sudden it’s a show of dissent towards MB.

No. I don't. Mowbray was on the decline and fell out with the board and it only goes one way.

I would have expected Speakman to live up to his data claim about scouting the world for the best head coach with data.

Not Michael Beale. Alot were against it, as they looked at his past At QPR and Rangers and seeked the opinions of their fan bases. So far it's exactly as they said TBH.

Personally, I would give him more time if he didn't throw the players under the buss after every defeat. He could also get us to attack and move the ball quicker. We are pure garbage to watch under him. Worst xg and goal threat from the entire season 4 of the 5 games under Beale.

    Just the wrong appointment. IMO.

Pritchard was pointing towards where the free kick was given away, poor from the referee imo, and asking why ...

... he didn't exactly push past Beale.

This is all becoming a bit hysterical and manic, not nice to see.

In his 5 league games he’s won 2 drawn 1 and 1 of the defeats was his first game after being appointed with half an hours training from him.
He needs time, I fear for the clubs and supporters reputation if he’s hounded out.

But playing that system may allow more players to become influential. I love Clarke but teams are really getting wise to how we play, he scored at great goal yesterday but that was down to Ba.
If we had 2 up front when Clarke gets forward he's only going to face the full back instead of 2 and 3 players he's used to as the 2 forwards would be occupying the CB.
Clarke might be our most dangerous player going forward but why not use a system where others can be. Like I said we are one dimensional and very easy to defend against.
If Roberts was fit yesterday he would have played, imo we would have been less of an attacking threat than we were with Ba.
Let's try a system yhat the prime objective isnt to be get the ball to Clarke and see if he can beat 3 players, other teams must love it

He has to earn that time though. He doesn't just get it as a given. He has been given the opportunity of a lifetime and he has to make an impact.

When you make an appointment like this, that the vast majority didn't want from the start, the impact has to be swift. That's the issue with making this type of appointment in the first place.

Hounding out a manager, before he's even arrived, is guaranteed to put off anyone with self respect taking the job in future ...

... Sunderland supporters are gaining a bit of a reputation, it's not a good look tbh.

Earn that time? He’s the manager at our club we claim to love. We back him until he proves beyond doubt that he’s failed. And at the moment we’re no where near failing.
The vast majority didn’t know who they wanted other than a sexy foreign name.

    It's becoming truly pathetic now.

Fishpaste on Twitter going on about feeling disconnected. What bollocks.

Ooh, the nice man that talked about chocolate has gone. I feel disconnected.

Ooh, I don't like the new manager's accent. I feel disconnected.

Ooh, someone played a prank in the Black Cats Bar. I feel disconnected.

Ooh, people keep talking about models and it makes me feel scared.

Ooh, we narrowly lost to the team in second who are having a good season. Waah.

    ****'s sake.

    I know mate.

Just saying how this hysteria has people making up whatever suits their campaign ...

... we've no idea what Pritchard said, he's getting time on the pitch under Beale.

    Makes you think.
