I'd be sending someone on just to get close to kdb and knock him.over. he's stood free directing traffic now.
Newcastle given the chop. They were al, out and zero ideas there. Howe stood looking at that when he had to do something to shut it down.
City should try that every week You're right though; KDB is arguably the best player in the world when fully fit, why let him have time and space to completely control things?
Trying to hang on like that is a terrible tactic - can't be helped if it's all you've got left, but I think they could have done more. They had no outlet.
It's just asking to get punished - they got what they deserved. The space they allowed him for his goal was criminal.
at least go full cheaty and if you look they had a sum total of 1 yellow card in the game. kick 7 shades out of them. push them over. flop down. make it a scrap. anything bar sit on the box and give city space to make chance after chance after chance until your side is complete shagged out.
Should have been two - Burn's "professional" foul deserved one. Rodri should have had three all to himself though.
yeah thats fair. but newcastle should have seen there was no threat from set piece and it wasted time. kick everyone for last 10. take your cards. there's a lot in there that yeah as fans we would not want to see but other managers get the job done by being lousy cheats. they had defenders and one midfielder left on that bench and howe didn't even assign one to go mark de bruyne. I was looking at him there and honestly he was not moving well. he really looked back off a long long lay off and well short of fitness.
city have now won 3 on a row and have a nice run of games coming. we have two massive top 6 clashes in the next 3. be prepared to see them go top shortly. we need to go on our own big run here and the home game against them is massive
Or..............City were as jammy as **** yesterday against a mid table side and conceded another two goals
