I think there'll be a lot of reticence about spending this month. Eddie's going to have been saying behind closed doors "all my players are injured, otherwise we'd be top 4 again" and what would a board do? Call him a liar, or see if he can get us out of this rut without spunking another £100m (something people seem to overlook when praising EH for our great escape a couple of years ago)? I have a feeling the next 4 months is basically one long test for EH. With an easing schedule and players returning, what excuses will be left? Each FA Cup game will feel huge and he's got to start getting points without having to rely on the opposition missing chances or having players sent off.

Agree with the Ponytail. I don’t think locally that some people are giving credit to Man City for how well they played or for the quality and impact that KDB had and made when he came on. Imagine the best, or at least one of the best, players coming on with 20 minutes to go against a tiring team with no genuine options off the bench.
