**** it we were doing **** in the league anyway, 8th or 12th who gives a ****. Let's build for next season and win the FA Cup.
Quald for the Champs League and watched us aim for Harvey Barnes. No, expectations are somewhat changed. I just wish Staveley hadn’t waded in with the whole “be the best, win the league” bollocks as it’s clearly not true. She should’ve kept it a lot lower key - almost all of us were just grateful to be shot of Ashley and have a bit of hope.
Watching us with 9 behind the ball hacking it clear with 20% possession. If that’s not Rafa ball I don’t know what is. Any more smart arse bolllocks from you? Please do keep it coming.
We didn’t ‘ask for it’ at all. City were excellent. Try giving credit to the opposition when it’s due.
Perhaps he isn’t actually given the space but has that bit of extra talent to find/make the space which is why he is, IMO, the best player in the Premier League at the moment.
If you park the bus you ask for it... we're **** that's why we have lost 7 of the last 8 Premier league games. No excuses it's just a reality check season.
To be fair they changed the sponsorship rules the following week. Newcastle fans are pleased to be losing every week now but that wasn't something afforded to previous managers.. maybe it's a good thing? Are we just the next club to get destroyed by FFP?
Personally mate I’m quite pissed off we’re losing every week. I’m more pissed off because we’re doing it playing the same players in the same formation and somehow expecting everything to magically change.
Missed it sorry - this only serves to suggest Howe is struggling worse than thought when he can’t get results with these against **** like Luton and Forest.
If you do ‘park the bus’ maybe, although defending is an art and is part of football. On the other hand if the opposition are so good that they force you back then if that wasn’t your intent then it’s not ‘parking the bus’. I agree, it is a reality check. Shows how far we have yet to go to match the best team in the world. With still a number of key players out such as Willock, Joelinton, Gordon (on as a potentially effective sub) and Pope, City still needed an injury time goal to beat us. Eg glass half full.
If it's an art then Newcastle are dreadful at it. Game after game conceding late goals. If you're not capable of shutting up shop that's a coaching issue.
Can't understand how people can't see that If people think we should defend in the opposition half, teams like City Liverpool Arsenal etc would have a field day We were 2 mins away from a fantastic point against the worlds best club team FFS
