We need experience in the spine of the team it’s that simple. Young lads who’ve played barely any football at a decent level don’t have the leadership skills to manage games from the pitch yet.

I have no problem with the young lads in the team but there has to be balance.

Sat in a vab trying to get away from the ground. Thought it was a good match. Two very matched teams, neither of whom deserved to lose.

A lack of discipline did cost us but so did a defensive ****show from what was just a cross from a left back on the back of us ****ting it even when they threw poor balls in. I wasn’t impressed by Ipswich. We gifted them that but I don’t think we finish higher than any of the current top 6 because of the start they have on us and our weaknesses.

The flaw in your thinking is that you have no say in Mowbrays replacement, but when you add onto the negative sentiment towards Mowbray it hastens his end.

Hes a lad with talent that should have been brought into the team slowly considering before last Jan hed only ever player U23 level.

Unfortunately due to our current model hes one of the first names on the team sheet next to Neil who is also massively inexperienced because we have no other alternative options.

We are a young team, and when we are good we’re flying. At the moment confidence is visibly ebbing away. We could really do with an old head at the back, just to talk them thru games. . Really do need a target man as well, we are now to easy to play against. If we continue as we are can see us only getting 2-3 points out of the next 3 games.

 

Has there been a goal scored against us this season that we haven't gifted the opposition? It's pathetic how weak we are at the back.

 

Equally he was dealt a squad with black holes in quality. I like the direction of travel overall but they do leave some black holes every window.
