It's all ifs and buts however I think they changed things at half time and that was too soon they had Man City rattled and then just sat back and allowed them to play.

Once we've lost at Villa things should improve.

longstaff is nowhere near the level required. I thought the others did Ok.. almiron and Gordon get tired and we're done though.

It’s not the defeat - it’s City - it’s the pathetic Rafa 9 man defence, the lack of control that’s deeply worrying. We’re lamenting the absence of Joelinton (Ashley), Willock (Ashley) and Wilson (Ashley).

Holy **** - you think Barnes is a top player that’s going to improve this team? He’s ****ing backup to Gordon!!

Those games were played at the end of a run of 10 games in 30 days with pretty no squad to swap around.
Ig you think this is bad, go back to late 70s / 80s or early 90s ...

It's not good right now, I accept that, but look at today, we were winning and playing decently - City have the likes of De Bruyne to bring on, who did we have ?

His game management is poor on the evidence if what we've seen. It's going to be another loss at Villa and then he's got to get results.

I didn't say that at all, and don't put words in my mouth ...

What I said, was that I don't understand how you've made you're mind up on the basis of his season with us so far.

Does that make it easier for you to understand?

I dunno mate, he can’t muster a team to beat Forest or Luton, we line up EXACTLY THE SAME every week. What exactly is he going to do?

Sure - I made my mind up watching a bang average Harvey Barnes play for Leicester and scratched my head why we didn’t try and get Maddison or Tielemans who both looked much, much better for the same team and given we had 2 or 3 left wingers at the time we felt the need to spunk £40m on him.

So I’m irritated because Barnes represents everything we’re doing wrong.

He's earned enough rope to see if the situation improves. If we lose a couple in February the tally will very quickly become about getting to 40 points and then he'll be under pressure.

Personally I think things will improve in February and we'll kick on again next season.

I've lost count however many goals we've conceded late this season. It's got to be something tactical and it's become a habit.

Wanting a managerial change feels as pointless as it felt wanting Pardew out.

I’m genuinely scratching my head. Zero January budget, not able to even attempt to get big hitters like Solanke or compete with the mighty Villa in the transfer market, no transfer gems appearing just futile efforts to get someone like Philips. 9 man defence “tactics”, hoofing clear-ish from the 60 min mark. No change in shape.

I dunno - maybe the expectations set by Steveley should’ve been significantly lower, because as the moment she looks like she’s a ****ing liar.

**** me. “Nothing wrong with our performances” says Howe. “Can’t keep it up physically for 90 minutes”. No ****.

“Good result in the FA Cuo” - against ****ing Sunderland?!

Actual quotes. I was waiting for him to say “we need to roll wor sleeves up”.

It’s just getting tired and predictable. There’s nothing changing.
