Season is gone for me. The spark we had isn’t there, we are slow, predictable and disorganised all over the park.

They have royally ****ed this appointment that’s 4 games already we have all been screaming for subs and he’s made them too late and the wrong ones.

The job is way, way above his level and it even shows when he speaks. Bloke shows no confidence or conviction at all.

This isn’t an overreaction to a loss, I’ve been biting my ****ing tongue on this for weeks.

He is clueless. He may well be a great coach but he couldn’t inspire a homeless person to wear a hat.

It’s far too big a job for him and that is crystal clear.

Another one out of position though, he’s not a winger.

Sorry but we were just all over the shop.

Lovely goal by Clarke after excellent work from Ba, but our passing was way off tonight, struggling to make simple 5/10yard passes.

Didn’t take our chances against a team with poor form and got punished after really school boy ****. Giving away needless free kicks, players free from set pieces. Lucky we didn’t concede more the amount of times they flashed the ball across the front of the goal.

The best team won. Didn’t deserve a point from that

I couldnt give a feck about City and Newcastle. Why is this even being brought up on our match thread ffs. Its the kind of behaviour that they have.

More importantly weve started a game with zero strikers on the pitch and been beaten. Were 1 month into sacking a manager and bringing in another one that hasnt improved a single thing or brought anything different tactically to the table

Of course they aren’t have you just noticed :emoticon-0116-evilg

Think of all the times you’ve read that such and such is the best in the division in his position. Ballard, Hume, Cirkin, O’nien (playing out), Neil, Clarke, Roberts..

If they were we’d be top of the league it’s that simple.

I said this to my dad the othwr week. We have an exciting team in terms of players that i think have high upside.

However, we dont have many players for right now

We got 7 points from previous 3 games so thats positive but i always look at performances as thats an indication on how long good form can continue n ours havent been good enough

Big game on hull as they dont look great at the minute

Rusyn needs to start n jobe should be on the bench.

Remember when we used to be all about movement and quick passing through the lines. Seems a million miles away now. Laboured bag of ****e now.

First half good, system correct, stifled them going forward.

Second half what the **** was that?

Beale needs to sort that out or this season is done.

I'm not coming on here for a rant ect, but this 3 season experiment where a striker on the pitch is treated like a rarity is f**kin boring now. Are the "Coaches" under some kind of instruction not to play them or something? And this isn't a reaction to that there, it's a reaction to the past 3 years. It's bordering on a bit weird now. As for Chapmans goal, absolute bullet, however, he shouldn't have had the time and freedom to do that. Newly Promoted team schooling alot of teams this season, we've just been added to the list. Stats may be similar, but the fine details are the difference

So if the players aren't as good as we thought, then maybe TM was a decent coach that just needed a bit of backing

To be honest I totally agree tactically nothing us changing and we keep playing the same system with the same players and expecting results to change. I am waiting patiently to see where the positive changes MB will make because at the moment everything is exactly the same as when Mowbray was here.
Feel really deflated after that and I am struggling to see the positives in our overall play. IMO I think that our tactics are more to do with Dodds and Proctor as this style has not changed for weeks which tells me that maybe MB is not strong enough to affect change. Hope I am wrong

It’s utterly depressing knowing that Beale will still be in charge for next season.

I can already see exactly how it pans out. We finish 11-12th. Then Beale gets sacked in October with us 18th.

im going to bookmark this and come back in October

You usually see how the team plays based on the manager/head coach. We seem lost at times

The players didn't play anywhere near as well as they can. Too many sloppy passes and failure to spot runs ... and these tackles where they turn their backs and hang a leg out <doh>

Aouchiche scores, we win and Ipswich couldn't have complained.

    Very disappointed with that.
