Woeful forward movement, can’t hold the ball up constantly giving the ball away, AM and SB decision making is dreadful and playing TC in the solo role has shot his confidence

Let’s be honest none of us believed the nonsense put out by JL & BT about being too 6, top 10 will be a good result this season. I believe NP would have achieved and hopefully LM will too. We need investment to achieve any better. Jan isn’t the time to do it, steadying the ship is all well get for now. Summer though we need to use some of the nest egg NP accumulated to bring some quality in.

Ditto and common sense comment, how can we become so poor since the West Ham second half effort.

Typical mid table championship team, lack of consistency. World beaters one game panel beaters next.

Took us 30 minutes to realise you were just as bad as us, by the way the first half was one of the worst in living memory, will do a match blog when I've had some grub,

seen worse perfomances, but missing scott badly, need a forward looking midfielder, and a forward with pace and movement put what number you like on his back so long as he has an eye for goal; all blindingly obvious i know but ,,there you are.

We’ll obviously raise our game against West Ham but the serial failings need to be addressed by the Manager and the owners as things simply don’t improve
But the owners are seemingly happy with mediocrity

and LM still has that same injury list, and has improved us a position, so what’s your point?

O'Leary dominant???? The highs and lows of supporting Bristol City were at their worst today and the questions will soon be asked and possibly answered. After the highs of the tough 3-2 home win vs Hull, the brilliant Boxing Day Mauling of Watford, a slightly less thrilling 1-0 win over Sunderland and the great F.A.Cup draw at West Ham coming back down to earth with a bit of a thud is very disappointing to say the least. The cold hard facts are that we consistently struggle to put together a squad that is capable of sustaining Championship accountability and appear to rather settle for mid-table obscurity based on our annual performances. So what is our problem and does it lie at the top or down at pitch level because this constant mediocrity, and that's being kind, is wearing thin in my books but as usual we also don't seem to have the answer on how to solve our apathy. January will not be our saviour if our past transfer dealing have any say in the matter and based on what I saw today we are slowly strangling ourselves by expecting players of questionable quality to do a first class job and I have to say I don't see anyone who can step it up to the necessary level. Constant rebuilds have never worked and the simple answer to solve that particular issue is not to sell all your best players but our esteemed owner wants that negative factor to be the mainstay of his business plan. Sadly lacking on all fronts but don't expect the winds of change to blow our way any time in the foreseeable future.

The top teams have quality players at this level.
They may not all be household names (yet) but you only have to watch them to see they’re coached well, are disciplined and have a determination to succeed
We’ve had, and have got individual stars but they stick out like a sore thumb when they’re surrounded by average or below average players
And of course they know they’ll be sold as soon as there’s a decent offer on the table
The only exception I can think of in recent years is Luton who seemed to have a can do attitude rather than out and out superstars
But maybe that was down to the brilliant managerial skills of Rob Edwards ?

The difference was, PNE had a plan B, we didn’t, Will Keane changed the game, we didn’t handle him!
