Do you mean both sides in the Championship? Let’s face it, the gulf in class between those two sides today was so wide. They just sliced through us with ease. And they could conserve their energy in the second half playing keep ball. Unless we get some decent recruits in this window we’re on a slippery slope. Admittedly Bulut is playing with the players he inherited plus a decent defender in Goutas. Siopsis form has gone downhill. I can’t really see us challenging for the play offs and I’m quite happy for us to start rebuilding this season and kicking on on the next one. It will be interesting to see who we manage to, hopefully buy, before the end of this month.
Theyve got better players than us so can press. We just dont press at all. I get it v Leicester , Leeds but we should be pressing sides in a similar situation as us who cant play out from the back like a Pep side just because they think its the right way. Buluts over achieving but a Warnock side would have at least made Leeds know theyd been in a game today.
Seriously need some reinforcements now as strength in depth is completely absent. On the plus front we are probably only around 5 - 6 points from safety. Bizarrely we are still only 3 points from the playoffs, but I think we've all come to the same conclusion that it's definitely a season too early for us to be thinking about maintaining any kind of playoff push, there's just too many stronger/more settled teams. I'm with Hilts on this, mid-table is about right given the overhaul we are still going through.

At the start of the season we played 2 midfield and 2 strikers. Bowler our best attacking player off. However at close range Allnick was brilliant.

Thanks. For first time in a long while we seem to be quite good. But still quite capable of missing out on an auto place of course, to be followed by losing a play off final to a breakaway goal having dominated for 90 minutes. It’s what we do.
