Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, even if they’re a complete spanner, but everyone else is free to challenge them on that opinion.

There are clearly justified criticisms that can be levelled at individuals and recent performances, but being boring to watch isn’t one of them.

Ranked 23rd in the division for % of our touches in the final third. We absolutely are boring to watch a lot of the time.

I wouldn't label them boring, more frustrating and inconsistent.

There have been one or two games this season when I've boarded a Train at Paragon and thought "Why the **** did I bother"? That's never been the case in the past, though I admit it's probably becoming more of a slog through age.I'll return for the Millwall game(all being well) and see how that goes.

Edit-: As for new fans,we've got them in abundance and I've never seen a bigger exodus in 55 years of support than the one last-night.

What is that down to though? I feel like most of the teams set up deep and block our progress into the final third. Yes at times we could be quicker especially on the counter. But it feels like it’s a mixed bag of our fault for not being quick enough at times and teams just setting up way too deep

A mixture of instructions from the manager, lack of confidence, lack of ability, etc

I genuinely think it’s the full backs. Coyle will get the ball in space a lot for example and more often then not he’s playing a simple pass which allows them to get bodies behind the ball. He’s a warrior, a supreme athlete but for the style long term he will need replacing.

There’s another 11 men on the pitch also being set up to counter us. Most of the games feel like we have possession with teams defending deep and we have to break them down. Not an entertaining watch and can get frustrating but how is that our fault teams are giving us some respect of the quality we have on the ball and not giving us space behind?

The moments in the game where we do find space I feel we do operate better at pace. Tufans shot that hit the post for example I believe was a couple passes and we had an opportunity. Of Fabio’s shot/cross that Sharp wasn’t far off was a quick break. I am really frustrated by recent games and I need to watch last nights game back but bar maybe the Wednesday game it does feel like most teams just set up shop deep and let us have 2/3’s of the pitch and ask us to beat 11 men in the final third. That’s difficult for most teams

Don’t disagree. I think it’s a factor but not THE factor. That being said Jacob seemed to show some bravery with passing last night that was being sorely missed at LB so I can see the argument for the opposite side

The things is Hangout... the teams at the top of the division will encounter this 'lying deep' every single game and yet their management team find a way. Sure they have in instances have better personnel, but its about method, a method we dont have. If we want to be in the mix THIS management team have to find a way. He LR has been given gifts many managers would dream of.

Yeah I agree with you. The way generally is in the moments the game does get stretched and you find the transition. Very rare you score when the game is compact like that. When the game is stretched we have to be way more ruthless

He’s clearly not, he turned around our relegation bound team last season and has us right up amongst it this season. I think he is too rigid and needs to start mixing it up more, particularly when key players aren’t available. But it’s nonsense to say he’s out of his depth.

Shota and Slutsky were out of their depth.

Looks bad because we're a possession based team. Wonder how we rank for touches in the final third.
