Probably this as Pembele and Mayenda played for the U21s tonight.
Mayenda scored 2 and had an assist as they won 5-0 away at Forest

Some of my Mansfield mates were there and said we looked very professional all round ...

    ... that's good to know.

Cheers RTB, great thread as always, I would love to see us up the tempo and make use of their poor form, I’m always a glass half full bloke, and my optimistic red and white balloon has well and truly been popped, however I can see the same uninspiring team that he put out against the mags, slow build up, fannying around playing it out from the back and trying to get it to Clarke at every opportunity who will be marked out of the game, no Plan B from Parkinson Mk 2, I can only see this going one way 3-1 to the home team.

I really do hope they prove me wrong, and re inflate said balloon, haway haway haway heart says 1-2 head says 3-1

Tricky one for Ipswich this, they aren't in good form but expectations have been raised.

I think they will come after us and try and push us back which will leave plenty of space for us to exploit

Itll either be something like this or i could see a 4231 with Ba RM. Davis is the threat n they seem to trust Ba defensively againsy attacking threats. Pritchard has to be moved centrally to play behind rusyn. If hes right midfield itll give Davis far too much space to attack

Head says draw, heart says 2-1 the lads. We will need to score at least two to win because we all know Broadhead is bagging one against us.

I can see Ba getting a game. Think MB likes him and he was very good in his cameo against the SCUM.

Weve lost George Hirst for probably the rest of the season and as he is our main target man weve suffered recently, coupled to injuries and suspensions ( Morsy ) plus a virus in the camp weve had to make 7 changes for the last few games, but we couldnt have imagined that we would have a season like this one so far so we will enjoy it while it lasts.

You have to enjoy anything like this mate, otherwise it's all pointless. We both know neither club will ever challenge at the top so promotions and the odd trip to Wembley have to be embraced.

I've seen us challenging for top six, reached a major cup final, etc ...

... but the play-off match against Wycombe Wanderers was my best experience in decades.

Hume was completely isolated with Pritchard playing on front of him against the mags, agree he needs to be central where he is most affective. I'd play either Adil or Ba with instructions to get back and help Hume when needed.

Ba has to start today. Davis will cause havoc against Pritch/Adil if they start on the right.

I think you are spot on there, if we still had the same useless owner that we had for 14 years running the Club into the ground ive no doubt that ITFC wouldnt exist now, so we now look forward to going to matches with a full house watching entertaining attacking football ( we cant defend ) instead of being the only person sitting in a row watching boring football played by a team of players well past their sell by date, but best of all is weve got our Club back.
