Who ever is available, LR needs to just cobble a side together Tuesday. Next Friday is way more important now...
Notwithstanding Gunn's heroics we just weren't good enough on the night. Too slow, not up to the physical stuff, not enough nous. We look good in the first 2 thirds but it all comes apart at the pointy end, especially when the opposition have parked the bus. I could count on one hand the crosses we put in that didn't land right on the head of a defender but we kept on doing it. Norwich deserved their win.
We desperately need to sort out our back four - left back essential - leader in the centre of defence essential - we keep the same centre two and keep shipping two goals a game -
No way should Gunn have been sent off. Defender does that and it's a great clearance, Connolly just wasn't expecting the keeper to jump and head the ball
I can't understand why we keep putting crosses into the box we rarely win a header and Lokilos only move is to cut inside and float a cross to the far post waste of time.
Carvahlo tired in the second half. Thought Twine looked half decent till he was brought off. Lokilo wants to be no where near the side.
We were attacking and Coyle with loads of time played a poor pass which brought on the pressure, I lay the fault for both goals with him today.
Just thought it was more of the same of what we've seen all season. Looks nice but doesn't really hurt anyone. Badly missing the quality Delap and Philogene bring
Sharp could have had two today easily, one if Carvahlo squared it and the shot he had straight at the keeper.
I disagree, it was reckless, dangerous and avoidable contact to a defenseless player’s head. It’s a foul anywhere on the pitch.
Thought we played alright all things considered. We’ve played worse and won. No cutting edge up front though and, without sounding like a broken record, their first goal hammers home my ancient prophecy that if you play with two holding midfield players, one has to be a defensive player.
A disappointing performance throughout, unfortunately. They put very little pressure on us, and scored two goals that should have been better defended. Jacob did very little wrong but played very conservatively and didn't really impose himself on the game. Sharp looked blunt. Carvalho looked rusty. Tufan flattered to deceive. Lokilo lacked any ambition. Twine, Morton and Coyle looked the most likely. This team, playing this way, will finish top middle, which is about the right level. Referee was, once again, awful, mind. But it wasn't really that that cost us.
Acun needs to buy a defence, left back right back and a centre back. We’ve got no left back and the fruit man is NO WHERE near good enough. Don’t get me stated on the clowns in goal, pure ****e.
Should never have been a free kick to them but if Alsopp had done the same we would have been praising him for coming out and nullifying a goal scoring opportunity.
