The thoughtless decisions are still happening at helland road , why let ayling go in middle of the season when we don't know if we will get promoted and don't have an experienced right back , scenario Leeds finish 3rd middlesborough finish 6th then ayling will play against Leeds and will have a point to prove why he is not in the 1st 11 . What a stupid decision , wouldn't it be better to let him go at end of season ?
He wants to play football and probably got told it aint happening here or in the near future. also he will want one last contract somewhere another thing that wasn't going to happen here sitting on his arse. You can't blame Bill in wanting out not at his age. We obviously have a plan in this window in moving out the two rightbacks. Also Its getting him off the wage bill which I'm sure wasn't that low compared to some here right now after signing it in the Prem. Best move from both parties for me.
It could come back and bite us in the arse if middlesbriugh get in the play offs and leeds don't get automatic prom in the top 2
That pace though can suddenly improve when he has a point to prove in the play offs , how many times have leeds seen a player leave to play against them later and they score against us.
You could be right , but can ayling play against us in the play offs which is different than a league match ?
My guess is that Ayling has a gentlemans agreement with Boro for a new contract for next season. Doing it as a loan now means he can't play against us this season in it's entirety including play offs.
Would agree with you however we got rid of Spence as well so it's a ****ing stupid move by a ******ed coach.
Well Personally I think its a good move. He isn't playing for us which means he isn't good enough right? to be honest I don't seeing a aging Fullback turning a screw for a promotion/Playoff charge. We will see but I'm quite confident its a good move for both parties.
Other than Bielsa we've now got the best manager in the last 20 years and yet somehow you're not happy ? Please tell me why.
Another coach you don't like. Got to admit that I'm kind of interested in who you want in charge or was your preference keeping one of Jesse, Gracia or big Sam?
Yes the one Palace sacked who were 12th at the time in the division above where we are now. Instead of the guy who was sacked from Norwich who were 20th in the Premiership the time he was fired and with are record of 16 consecutive loses in the Premiership not matched by any other manager.
Getting rid of Spence, regarded at the best right back in the division is a massive mistake that could cost us promotion
Think Viera was one I also nominated as a potentially good choice last summer but subsequently can see that appointing Farke was the better solution. With all the problems encountered we really needed someone with experience and know how of both relegation from the PL and also promotion back to it. Of course we'll never know how someone else might have fared but to be up there challenging with all our top players happy and not currently looking for an exit is exactly the stability we needed after the protracted change of ownership and relegation.
