They will have to start getting used to the idea that in order for Newcastle to compete they need fans over there. I know it sounds awful, but the fans before the takeover haven't been enough to win a trophy.
Think the issue with that particular fan is that in 2010 she was supporting Manchester United. Edit: should point out I’m not concerned by this. it’s just your typical twitter twats
Good news the more converts the better... it really doesn't matter clubs are just things people decide to attach themselves to.
The more the merrier, so long as they all buy memberships & official merch, to add to the club's coffers.
This is key Newcastle needs to grow it's fanbase abroad or it will never succeed with it's aims. The owners didn't buy Newcastle to please a few loyal geordies.
Newcastle United post £73m loss for 2022-23 season https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67950169 I'm sure someone on here can explain what this means to a layperson
We're still safe for FFP purposes. Which will be the main concern from most due to the headline. Commercial revenue from sponsors up considerably, this is without the Sela sponsorship or Adidas or Champions League money. My guess is Champions League and Sela deal will be in next years accounts and Adidas showing the following years accounts. Club looking at a training kit sponsor and expecting to increase commercial revenue further between sponsors and turning SJP into a 7 day a week venue.
Same again next year with the Sela deal to be included and possibly Adidas one too. Plus whatever deal they have in place with Sela also sponsoring the new fan zone when it opens too. With a training kit sponsor been sought, the Adidas deal, Sela and Noon should see us way past the £100m a year mark through commercial sponsorship alone. (still dwarfed by the likes of Man Utd and Man City)
Eales also readying the fans for the sale of Bruno. No-one else in the squad has anywhere near his value. He'll go to PSG or Real for at least £100m, but as Eales rightly says a sale like that paves the way for several £30-50m players.
IT MEANS WE POSTED A LOSS OF £73M FOR LAST SEASON You can tell he spends far too long getting himself ready for the TV shots. It’s not that hard.
I spend too much time working- just got back home I see there is a witch hunt to find out who created the signage for the Makems black cat bar Boy do these take it to the next level
