Actress Georgina Hale has died aged 80, she was a bit of a heartthrob in the 70's in the Sweeney movie and McVicar, but is probably better known now for her more recent roles in Emmerdale and Hollyoaks... please log in to view this image
That scene in Mcvicker in the apron is legendry, wish at that tine she'd have served me up brekkie dressed like that !!! RIP
RIP Georgina Hale Remember her in a few 'Play for Todays'...I was an impressionable kid at the time!!!
Annie Nightingale, 83 - employed as the token woman DJ by the beeb, she was never 'token'. RIP Annie, up there rocking it with The Ramones.
As we know, there was some horrible characters employed by the BBC as radio DJs in the Sixties and Seventies. Annie wasn't one of them. RIP to a real trailblazer.
RIP Anne. A lot of these celebs from my youth are popping off. I’m starting to look over my shoulder. Brings mortality home now and again.
do you know where the list of kr players with numbers is? one of their 1950s players died a few years ago and probably didn't get a mention.
Can't find the players numbers but found a full list of players. List of Hull Kingston Rovers players - Wikipedia
cheers, i'd looked on there, but details were lacking. it's weird how there isn't a compehensive r.l. site in the way there is for football. or perhaps it's just well hidden.
thanks, got the number. can't help feeling kr are missing a trick there. there's so much data they could add.
i've been directed to this site for something more comprehensive, but it's a work in progress and doesn't have info on the player in question: https://www.rugbyleaguerecords.co.uk/
