Seriously if Father Jack allows this, he should be demodded, this is blatant abuse on the basis of my colour, you are a disgrace, I'm sure Jack will act on this, if not I will take the matter further

Well done city, nice attempt. Looks like we may struggle to qualify, while you lads may well be going out in the groups

I don't understand this idea of football having earned money... United getting 10M for their training top sponsor is about as much earned as City's millions or Chelsea's millions. Tbh football isn't a fair game nowadays. It is and has been about money for close to the last 30 years. Gone are the days of teams like the Lisbon Lions of Celtic who will take a team of 11 local players and win big cups. I also cant fathom how any United fan can look at their teams success at recent years and feel it has any more value than any other teams success considering the gulf in financial advantage they had over other teams (handed to them or gained by having millions "fans" in asia and holding a monopoly on the champs league cash cow doesn't make any difference imo)

No one cares about fair until they arn't winning anyway and if fairness is what you want go watch MLS. The closest thing football/soccer will come to being fair.

Tell that to the teams that finish 4th-6th this year. Building squads and hoping to get into the top 4 only to have city spend a billion pounds and breeze past them.

All city have done is replace Chelsea as United's artificially created competition and claimed a CL spot they didn't earn.

The real losers in this will be Arsenal/Liverpool/Spurs (Maybe Chelsea and Newcastle).

No the real losers are teams like Blackburn, Everton and i agree Newcastle. Teams with amazing fan bases who won't ever get anywhere near the top 6 without a sugar daddy because that is what football is now.

If every team had a 60'000 stadium, no euro, sky, sponsor money and all the money and success was down to the fans then i could understand morality in the game but the champions league has been financial doping of the "big teams" for years. To the point where sugar daddies are the only way teams will achieve league success in most countries.

But that is football. It isn't fair. Don't hate the player hate the game.

If city hadn't bought a CL spot then Spurs would be in Europe and the increased revenue/stature would allow them to seriously challenge next year. As it stands they face a serious uphill battle to get in the top4 because two clubs are bankrolled by billionaires. The teams with the best support and fanbase are getting screwed by small clubs with rich backers. Roll on FFP.

To tell yourself this is all fair and morally acceptable is pathetic. Just admit your a jumped up mid table team and enjoy your success knowing it comes at the expense of a real football team.

Well there goes any possibility of a sensible debate and discussed points of view with you.

It isn't fair. Get used to that in football.

I won't have time to get used to it before the FFP rules come in and little experiments like city vanish back down the table as fast as they appeared <ok>

Might take a few years for the full effects to be felt but the days of city are already numbered.
