RAFFLE TICKET 6/1 Doncaster 2:00 Comes out best on Timeform ratings and good to see Cobden in the saddle as he was last time out. Opening show with WH looks generous to me.
as was their 4/1 on Tom Cody - 365 still go 10/3 - anything bigger than 2s is value with the form franked.
I'm all over Tom Cody in the 3.05 Donny tmrw i highlighted him for this race in a post last week. I don't expect the 100/30 to last. I still think he's very well handicapped and 8lb won't be enough to anchor him.
Could Be Trouble 2 35 Donc 5/1 edged down to 107 (won off 122) Not run at all badly at Southwell and Catterick after a break off 108. Probably caught in a hotter heat when well beaten 3rd at Aintree. Trip probably on the sharp side but I'm hoping she can make the running and make it a test. I can see her going very close.
Given my love of Indian food I have to point out The Happy Chapati in the Donny bumper. Stick will give us the winner though
The race is a minefield mate with any number of potentially class horses and some that have already shown decent racecourse form. I would have to be looking for some value if I was playing and maybe extra places. The two I thought were interesting at the prices were ACE OF SPADES (Skeltons assumed 2nd string) and JACK HOPE. Of course Nass is all over Tank Top
A wee L15 with a small win roll-up today. Doncaster Demachine Masked Dancer Leicester Royal Mer Clonakilty
Afternoon guys, my mates been told to back I play county 335 Donny ew to be safe, as the bumper king stick is about today, what's your thoughts mate?
I am also a very 'Happy Chapati' consumer. I also love Naan, especially the one stuffed with spicy mincemeat, etc. Best food on the planet IMHO. (Oh, my better-half just told me to tell you that she is putting €10 on HC, come what may!) (She does a darn good Indian curry herself too, must say)
Was just going to say, hope they go Wetherby (but @Ardent1965 beat me too it!) as the ground will be lovely Soft ground. Todays looks to be a bit too much on the good side. Ours goes in the Towton there too. Has a good chance.
The (15:50) at Leicester, a Class-5 Handicap Hurdle over an extended 1m7f on heavy ground, gives the Kodiac gelding (Damsire: King's Best), Embolden, a squeak for a podium finish at least. Sam Twiston-Davies on board for the Royston trainer Clare Hobson. 10/1 (BetMGM/BetUK) is the top price at time of writing, which seems to be reasonable odds. E/W best option.
