Agreed, very significant game to us as the trailing pack has gained substantially on us. Lose this and we could drop almost out of the top 10.

    Allsop
    Coyle Greaves Jones Slater
    Morton Docherty
    Twine
    Ally Connolly Carvalho

    For me.

I think Jacob might get given the start at left back, and Vaughan may start on the wing.

I reckon Slater and Morton with Tufan in front.

I think Carvalho will probably come off the bench for this one if he’s a done deal done deal done deal done deal.

Looking a but thin on the ground aren't we. Delap is a massive blow and Allahyar and Vaughan starting doesn't fill me with confidence

I think Vaughan is a bright player, and he showed last season he’s capable of mixing it in this division. I would start him in the right though with Coyle behind him, which I think would be a big help for him.

If Jacob starts left back I’d probably like to see Twine start left wing for similar reasons, he puts in a shift and will help Jacob out.

Difficult team to call this one, particularly so as the fringe players who you’d expect to come in put in a bit of a stinker at the weekend whilst the younger players shone out a bit. Rosey didn’t mince his words about some of those players too.

If it was a team at the bottom I would expect to see those two young lads start but with it being Norwich I do wonder if he’ll stick with the likes of Macca and Ally.

I can't see Allahyar starting at all. Whether he trusts the youngsters or not, he just isn't in favour.

If you look at the team which started at Sheff Wednesday as a starting point, we'll possibly bring Jacob in at left back and move Greaves to the centre, we'll have to replace Delap and we'll maybe also swap out Lokilo. I can see Carvalho starting because when we make these big signings LR tends to throw them straight in. He did it with both Twine and Philogene very soon after signing. If Lokilo is dropped I'd expect Twine to be the other one to come in along with FC.

Slater as a faux left back as Syd suggests is an interesting shout, but I think that our other midfield options are too poor to not be playing Slater and Morton in there.

From what I have seen they are good going forward but a bit leaky at the back. We need to take the game to them, but Seri will be a big miss controlling things.

I would be happy if Jacob was at LB as that looks to give us a better balance than shoehorning Slater/Coyle or Greaves there.

With Delap and Philgene missing, I think Carvalho has to start.

    I would go with

    Allsop
    Coyle Jones Greaves Jacob
    Morton Tufan
    Slater Carvalho Twine or Vaughan
    Conolly

Against Sheff Wednesday I said I can't see beyond a comfortable City win.
This time I can't see beyond a comfortable Norwich win. Until we get players back & in we just don't look that strong and balanced to me whoever fills in where. Good job we only sign robust players and have 2 for each position :emoticon-0112-wonde.
    Here's hoping.

    City 3 -1 Partridge Family

    Allsop
    Coyle Jones Greaves Jacob
    Morton Slater
    Connolly Tufan Carvalho
    Sharp

I'd be asking Sharp to give us 60 minutes then switch Connolly to the middle for the last half hour

Disappointing as I thought Connolly did okay against Birmingham with Sharp telling him what to do and when to do it
