Boro have already lost two key players to injury and they've barely played 20mins. Sound familiar? Chelsea really are a bunch of insufferable little ****s.
£222m spent on Enzo and Caicedo alone and they can’t control a game against a mid table Championship side. What do these guys do in training? Pochettino really isn’t doing a particularly great job over there (much to your delight I’m sure).
I think they will, to be honest, but even/when they reach the final, I just can't see this team getting the better of (based on likelihood) Liverpool in the final. They're also 10th in the league and 12 points off a CL spot - which should be under more scrutiny considering their outlay and the quality they have.
Maybe he'll benefit from the Chelsea owner realising that giving a manager half a billion to spend and sacking them within a few months ain't a good idea!
Jordan Henderson reportedly joining Ajax Presumably he's going to get PTSD when somebody tells him about a woman getting stoned the night before, only to realise she merely had a hash brownie
And that Boro's keeper, Tom Glover, was on our books for several years. Spent a number of them on loan, admittedly. Still counts as HG/CG, IIRC. Boro are having a mixed season, but Carrick did well to turn them round. They had a really rough start, so to be in touching distance of the play-offs is great. There was some talk of him getting the boot, but I don't think that Gibson considered it.
I heard he'd have a multi-million dollar tax bill if he terminated his contract within 2 years. Hope he read the small print ..
Think that was if he returned to work in the UK (though may just be resident for a certain number of days) we would tax him on his Saudi earnings .
Not so sure... The reports talk about a return to the PL but think that's just lazy journalism. I think it applies anywhere outside the Kingdom. https://www.irishmirror.ie/sport/soccer/liverpool-henderson-saudi-transfer-wages-31824156
i'm fairly certain HMRC would want a chunk as well . One could start to wonder if he thought this whole thing through before jumping .
Resident in the UK for 90+ days in one tax year, all earnings are liable to UK tax (after reciprocal tax agreements with overseas nation being applied) for that year.
