I thought he was already working his notice.

Not great to be sacked by your boyhood team.

Think Bruce was taking his job in the long run but he’s probably best if he stays away from the stadium and let knowledgeable people do his job

I have to be honest here, I have blamed him for a lot, but I dont actually know if he was responsible for all the off the field **** we have had, I could cope with £140k a year and I know I would have done a better job

If he was already working his notice a bit payed gardening leave eases the pain of being a sacrificial lamb to help appease the angry mob - just a passing thought

KLD asked Davison if he would like to take some "gardening leave". Davison said he would look into it :emoticon-0102-bigsm

He is not on his notice, YET, However with us you never know what's round the corner, LIKE the security issue is on Tuesday being investigated.
    This might be interesting

I would guess it's the lack of supervision of contractors. The lads in the BCB had clearly been left to their own devices for hours.

Security aren’t responsible for supervision of contractors, they allow access ensuring they are signed in. I wouldn’t expect a security man to know RA/MS, the extent of the works or to check if they have the correct qualification to be doing what they are doing and working in accordance with the HASAW act 1974. A security man won’t escort them to their place of work, they will tell their point of contact on site to do that and show them the welfare facilities and a site induction for escape purposes. If they make security a scapegoat, then they truly are taking the piss.
