Forest might want take that risk - see potential and him not starting for a champ club - and would offer (a "derisory") £8m or something.
Great name, ever better news. Would love Brooks. https://x.com/nickmashiter/status/1744696330931364287?s=46&t=RAk-_wQK-KVV78h012gt7A
It makes sense for all parties. Brooks needs the game time after all he's gone through, Bournemouth don't have space for him right now and we need that right sided wide player.
And he's local so wouldn't require a move. Seems like it makes sense for all parties. I remember the days when we used to loan out our young players down the leagues to Bournemouth. How the times have changed!
Brooks hasn't played regular football for 4 seasons. It'll probably take until the end of this season for him to get up to speed. I don't think he will have a big impact and hoped we could get someone to make an instant impact, espcially we are only looking at short term loans.
Completely disagree. He'd struggle to complete 90 mins but that's fine with the squad we have. I'm confident he'd have a big impact for us.
I know we usually like to take our time, make sure we are getting the best deal etc etc for new signings. But for me we need to be pushing to bring in this RW asap, ideally so they can even be in the matchday squad this weekend! This run of games is when they will be most needed whilst we have the injuries to Edozie and Suelemana. We don't really have anything off the bench to impact the game like when we have Fraser to bring on, beyond youth players or sticking a striker out there and hoping they can do a job.
I hope he does but can't see it myself. It's not as bad as the Ross Stewart deal as the risk is fairly small with it being a loan deal.
