So for anyone in the same boat as me, have bought tickets, had to set up accounts for dad and kids. Weird thing was you had to put an email address and mobile in for the kids (even though they had the dates of birth) so had to use my mobile for all of them and work email, wifes email etc. Got confirmation that tickets being emailed to to each of the addresses. Given only I have a smartphone and can only access my email on it I can't see how that will work. Have to contact ticket office and ask for help I guess. Very strange how hard they are making it for people to go to the match, £100 for 2 adult and 2 kids tickets and it feels like a lot of admin so far for the privilege! Hopefully all becomes clear and can sort it out easily. Don't see why children and oaps should be forced to have smartphones and email addresses to watch a football match so sure there'll be an answer in this modern inclusive world we live in
If you need help, contact the ticket office ASAP as they aren't top quick in getting back to people. Hope you get sorted.
Thanks mate, I'll email them now. Match isn't for a month so hopefully plenty time, appreciate everyone's help, I'll stop boring you all with it now!
Suggest forwarding the emails with the tickets on to your email address, then pass the phone to each person to scan their own ticket for entry. Bit of a fart on, but will work
I would imagine that you haven't bored anyone . . . . you've asked for help and 'we' have given some We are a mainly happy & amiable group that will help each other whenever possible, and there is no intention to let that change
Cheers mate, I did and all info is there, ticket office couldn't solve the problem but did offer to provide a ticket for a fee. Thankfully a screenshot of the QR worked and he was able to get in
Much prefer it. I've forgotten my season card before, never forgotten my phone. Plus I've forwarded my ticket to someone else because I'm away for the next two home games. No messing about meeting up to hand over a physical ticket.
If it’s a smart phone then surely you can access ANY email on it? OR forward on the emails with the tickets to YOUR email address?
Daft question time: I've changed my phone (still have the other one. How do I move my season tickets from my wallet on my old phone to the wallet on the new one? Thanks to anyone slightly more techie than me (which most of you will be)
It is an Apple but as well as getting a new phone I've set up a new Apple account. Finally getting round to separating my personal life from my work life.
I have Android and read something about this months ago, it should be the same for Apple. Find the original email and download the ticket to your new wallet. The ticket should then only work in your new wallet
Typical!. Can find the guide Sunderland sent on how to download to wallet, can find my DD confirmation but can't fined the email with the tickets on.
Got it! I had one for mine and one for my Son's. Now uploaded but the strange thing is both tickets in the wallet are now showing as Adult rather than one as Under 18. Must be a glitch somewhere. I did get charged for an adult for him for the Newcastle game.
