I was listening to Terry Gibson chatting to Mark Saggars on Talk TV last night and he said exactly the same thing when he left Man Utd to join Wimbledon. Bobby Gould met him in a smart Wimbledon pub and got him to sign, then took him to see the training ground, then the Plough Lane ground.. Gibson wondered what the hell he had done.
I'm a critic, not necessarily the style, more the speed we play at. I think we can definitely attract players with our manager and owner. We mostly have the right players, though not necessarily always in the correct positions. I just think Liam can be a little bolder. That said I do notice him on the touchline urging the back 4 to play the ball forward quicker and he genuinely seems frustrated. Someone mentioned having an old head centre back to give us some nouse at back and I'd like to see that.
Carvalho on loan and Pandur on a permanent is a real statement of intent. Tbh, I’m more excited for Pandur as I believe we’ve got a quality keeper for the long term. Massive upgrade on Ingram and Allsop imo.
Do you know much about Pandur? From the little I’ve read and their fans saying they should be getting 3-4m for him suggests he’s fairly highly rated
