I can hear the teams announced an hour before kick off and then again at kick off, the public service and birthday announcements, the "Grand in your hand" numbers at half time, I'm not doubting you at all Marcus but for the last two years I thought the PA had been sorted.

    I was a Wigan mudslider ...

... so perhaps a little too uncouth for those who depend on team announcements, hand driers and a big screen for vital messages.

It'll all be done as time goes by, we're still way ahead of most clubs.

Don't know about the rest but you might have a point about the etickets Bob. Mine only works 50% of the time at best.

I went to Bradford Park Avenue, for a night match, with Mansfield ...

... what an experience for a thirteen year old who'd gone on his own <doh>

To clarify when I moved to different jobs whoever I made mates with I would go to some matches with them depending on where we were playing. Other wise I would get the Donny supporters bus to Roker or the SOL. Just writing this brings back loads of memories, some of today’s fans can never have again. My age group were very lucky, but todays fans have never had it so good and they don’t realise it. You actually stood on terraces in a foot of snow with no roof which was the norm.

I assume the old ground not the one they're currently at? Would have loved to have gone there. I lived round the corner from it for a bit. Did actually play there once, but long after the ground had gone. There was a little sports centre there. Now a gym I think.

I remember visiting Rotherham’s old ground in the 90’s for a 3rd round cup tie. It had two single toilets for however many thousand we had there.

People were pissing anywhere and everywhere. I even seen some guy just pissing where he stood in the stand. The good old days <laugh>

Yes mate, the old ground was like a Victorian theatre, quite Gothic. It had a social club attached where they had a whippet racing circuit inside, a massive hat rack for all the cloth caps and Freddie Trueman behind the bar <laugh>
