It was noticeable once he went off, Sundlund got more joy than they should have in the centre of the pitch Although Miley is very young he needs to be more fearless in his tackles and not let other team intimidate him
Welcome to Sunday. this is the day where the Mackems sit around in a digital circle and hum to themselves to sooth the pain. To provide a comfort blanket they will only focus on our ownership now in a vain attempt to convince themselves that they ‘’won’ the game. they will also avoid all newspapers as they can’t read. They will bury deep the hurt off the pitch so it is our duty for the next 10 years to remind them of the day their club backed US over them and rolled out the red carpet. Mackem pumping day +1 will be a joyous day my friends. drink it in.
77 pages on their thread. . Entertainment read and warms the soul. Loves this. I'm not trying to be a wise guy but yesterday will soon be seen as a turning point imo. We're quite literally not in the same league as Newcastle and, from what I saw yesterday, I don't want to be ... ... the whole thing is so fake and worse than I'd thought from the 'decimated by injuries' shyte to the free b&w scarves that looked pitiful and cheap. I used to love the rivalry but it's gone now, time to face facts ... ... they're no more our rivals than Hartlepool. In the past there was always the chance that each club would have their turn above the other. Finished. It's not as if Newcastle have gradually built a team and fought hard to climb the table, they've been taken over by an unstoppable regime. Surely we can now just get on with our football and forget about competing with them, it's over. I've never seen 6,000 away fans so subdued and quiet ... ... they know they're not earning success, just buying it. What a concept, sell your soul to 'get your club back'
Starting to believe Joelinton is the heart beat of the team, our best performances come when he's on it.
They've obviously getting their hands on a cheap job-lot. from somewhere The Wor-flags team are a real asset for our club, I'd like to see them on the pitch at the end of the season for the walk around too.
Interestingly - Ballard and O'****e started acting the big men once Joelinton went off. They were terrified of him.
This is the Mackem John Wick apparently, he is not the brightest. The last league match with them was actually a draw and they haven't won 8 of the last 9. This is what happens when John Wick goes to Sunderland
I do love his logic of "27 points up for grabs" means that total has to be shared out equally regardless of the results. He doesn't seem to have twigged that when you draw a game it's a point each, and you don't share the potential 3 points for winning our equally.
And just for the record Mr Wick, this is the head to head: Newcastle wins 54 Draws 49 Sunderland wins 53 So yesterdays result means that one doesn't even work anymore.
Clinging to 6 in a row. Took them 28 years to beat us on Wearside. Before Mike Ashley we had more derby wins. Tinpot club.
Our league record against them in the 16 games prior to those games: Newcastle wins 8 Draws 7 Sunderland wins 1 But it's all about those 6 games. Obvs
Yeah other than battering them if we get drawn against them in the cup again, I can't see us playing them again soon. Although I'll look forward to them painting their stadium black and white for our arrival the next time we visit.
Tbf they never were our level anyway. Even when Ashley did his best to destroy us, we still finished above them all the time. No matter how bad things got here, we've always been able to say "at least we're not Sunderland".
