You did the right thing not going, I saw the new studio Ghibli movie this week the heron and the boy, magical
Just saw the interview with the Bournemouth manager, he said we knew they have problems with set pieces
We were the second best side in the first half, luckily got two goals but easily could have been 3-2 to them at half time, the second half we didn’t put three passes together, for me no green shoot signs. Wheres the booze. Why try to play out from the back, put us in trouble every time, Bournemouth must have wet themselves laughing that we still tried to do it after messing up 20 times
Not sure if it's been said, but that was the best refereeing I've seen at LR all season. She was calm and ignored all nonsense.
Been travelling most of today so missed most of what happened but did have that 10 minute period of hope thanks to our WhatsApp group.... now nicely mellow after pizza and wine so not unduly bothered about football.... Back home tomorrow evening.....
I would of been happy with 0-3 defeat before the kick off, so I'm absolutely delirious with the result! Keep up the scoring lads next week when it matters. I guess i'm a kinda half full type of bloke.
I’m not sure any coaching is going to help a goalkeeper doing the job for 15 years who can’t get within a yard of a cross.
She was good but I thought she missed a foul that led to their third goal. However, if they hadn’t scored then they would have scored at some other time.
He’s trying this hybrid zonal/man marking nonsense which doesn’t work. Thought it was Larkeche who defends like he’s never played before but could have been any of them. We’re just a piss weak team. Half these goals wouldn’t be happening with ****tu or Alan McDonald in the team.
You think of Macca, Steve Wicks or Terry Fenwick and our centre backs are a million miles from those guys.
Only just caught the end of McDonald’s career because I wasn’t alive during rationing but yeah. You don’t have to be a great footballer to defend a set piece. Dunne made one brilliant defensive header in the first half when he didn’t have time to think. There’s no leadership out there which you’re relying on whoever of Fox/Cook to provide. Begovic is as quiet a captain on the pitch as you’ll see. At 2-1 under the cosh there was no real attempt to slow the game down or get the ball into the corner and pin them back for a minute. Just sitting in and praying.
