I'll try my best, I go with my older brother to games which is nice, he's at uni and moans about funds lol so will try and drag him lol, I've been once before were we won 4-2, I think it was boxing day can't remember
Morning all. I haven't been posting much lately. My wife's post-natal depression has returned so I haven't had a lot of time for not606. Being allowed back into some of the central city for the first time since February hasn't helped. There is a lot of open space that wasn't there before. We both shed tears. They have done a good job in the main shopping street. They have used tarted up and stacked shipping containers to make spaces for shops and cafes. The weirdest cafe, though, is one that has not been demolished and is still closed. Plates and glasses are still on the tables as they were left.
would be good to have you there Red, a lot of us will be there, including Norway, possibly Al, and if i'm not going bonkers...Barry, though i might have just made that up lol...and the regulars down at the Vic, Dan, me and w_y...(sorry if i've missed anyone!)
It must be so tough, and i'm so sorry to hear about your wife's problems. That truly does suck. Big hug and good thoughts your way NZ...have the tremors stopped completely now?
Thanks for your thoughts H. There are still a few tremors but they are very small and it is rare for us to notice them.
How very strange, I thought I would listen to 3CR to hear what they were going to do and say now that they didn't have their interview. For some unknown reason it suddenly switched to Look East.
That must be pretty surreal , I think I might have cried too, there used to be a cremotorium opposite AMR stadium I dont know whether it is still there , but my baby Jakes ashes were laid to rest there and we planted his kowphai (spelt that wrong I know)tree in rememberance! It would be nice to know if it was still there!
I have no risk of that this week - my last boss who only lasted 3 months (thinking about he came from Stanmore, so no surprise there then) has not been replaced, so his boss is standing in and I report to her. Trouble is she has gone home to the US for a couple of weeks and did not tell us and her out of office message points to the manager in a different team, but he is off sick! So I copied her boss, who is now out for a few days and his out of office message points to another senior manager..who it turns out is also off this week! As I say, corporate madness abounds...
Sort of...but there is always someone who thinks they can dump some ****e on you. Big positive is there is no one to pull the carpet from under me when I tell them to piss off...
Just had an interesting phone interview with a nice lady in Canada, Fingers crossed , would be glad to get out of Norway!
Hey that sounds like good news might be on it's way. If you have to make a trip over for an actual interview, I have heard that there is a new airline starting shortly. Bazgoeasyair.com.
