We all said round our seats, he will score today, doing everything he can and in the right place, not sure if he had a twinge though earlier.
To be fair I had forgotten why he left and the comment made me check. Not quite sure he’s been on the trajectory he was expecting after being Bayern assistant manager
Good win. No injuries. A rest of many of the main players. Happy days. Fraser certainly MOTM. But it was only Walsall, so I won't get too carried away with individual performances or anything.
You can’t blame him for going really. Saints in a tailspin, or Bayern. I wish him well. Just not next weekend.
Yeah this. Good to get minutes for the younger players and some for the fringe players but we have been beating Champ teams comfortably at home recently so this result wasn’t exactly a surprise
I'm thinking that without trying to 'tom' it, if we dont lose the next one, can we rename the match day threads to 'Loading's Match Day thread', rather like they were 'Rooney's Birmingham' for a while?
Made it a little bit more difficult for ourselves than we should have but credit to RM for sticking with the starting 11 until deep into the second half. All the kids made a positive impression and played their part. Even Bragg managed to pick out a pass that completely split their midfield to set up a break for us. Meghoma seemed to get better and stronger as the game went and I loved his confidence to step over the ball, second half, when we were being pressed quite strongly by Walsall. Completely broke the press and he then had the confidence to run half the length of the pitch and play the ball to Fraser. Sam was played out of the second half by our constantly attacking down the left but still created two goal attempts for Fraser first half, so I hope he doesn’t feel disappointed. Dibling reminded me of MLT, the way he was standing over the ball and walking it towards his FB.
What was the attendance today? Mate who went said a really good turnout and that Walsall brought a fair few too.
