But he has no experience of the Premiership. He'll get found out at Old Trafford. Totally exposed. Not worth the risk is it?

But 20 minutes in midfield v City and he'd be fine, right?

He's played v Spurs already and 90 minutes against Blackburn.

Also, he's played against Man Utd before, marking Ronaldo out of the game to the point where he switched wings because he was so frustrated.

Well for Inter he made his debut for them in the QF of the Coppa Italia against Roma and his third match for them was in the CL against Man U marking Ronaldo, and this was when he was 18 as well so it appears he does not have a problem jumping into the deep end.

20 mins at full back against Citeh would have done him the world of good. No harm whatsoever.

How would getting ran at by some of the best wingers in the world done him any good? The game was lost, throwing him in could have cost us a goal and damaged his confidence. What did him the world of good was coming on v Spurs, where he helped us win the game as it was still in our reach and we werent being dominated. Why are you obsessing so much about whether or not he got 20 minutes against City? He's fit and has played for against teams better than them in the past.

Gareth Bale and Modric are crap though eh? Plus the game was 2-1 and still competitive.

If hes fit, then play him. In fact, if he's fit, he should definitely have been in the team more prior to now.

Im not obsessing. I just cant help but bite at hypocrisy, contradiction or ignorance.

Would you start him ahead of Raylor then?

Yes I would, but 20 minutes against City would do **** all for him. If you want to ease a player in, play him when you're winning a game, and certainly not while the Champions-elect are all over you.

Keep him in the side. Raylor free kick + De Gea in nets = <party>.

Its always best to ease a player in when the game is pretty much won or pretty much over. 3-0 up or 3-0 down.

I agree with u that DS should have been eased in by now. 3-1 up against Blackburn for eg. He should have started against Wigan.

Im disappointed at Pardew's total lack of playing time he has given him in the Prem this year. Thats all. He's done a cracking job this season, but he is very afraid of changing a winning team. Marveaux should have had more games before breaking down. Same for HBA. With a bit more games played, he would have been that more match sharp vs citeh and possible would have slotted that chance away.

Definitely drop. Made too many errors this season so far. Don't know where a lot of you get the "he's only had one bad game" thing from.

May as well get Santon on for Raylor. Will give our left flank a lot more pace for attacking and defending, which is needed.

Santon has to get used to the Prem sooner then later, much rather sooner as Raylor is by far not good enough.

Would free Jonas up to attack a lot more, he's been very impressive in defence but Raylor isnt in the same class as Enrique and Santon going forward and linking up.

    My formation would be:

    Ba
    Jonas Cabaye Tiote Ben Arfa
    Coloccini Best Simpson Taylor
    Perch Santon
I reckon we'd win because all of the Utd players would be ****ing confused, especially Ferdinand, the dumb ****.
