Are people really surprised that we've looked poor against a team that is faster, stronger and generally better in every position due to spending an enormous amount?

If anyone expected us to match them they were in fantasy land. We've done alright for me apart from a couple of flat performances and Ekwah letting us down badly for the second.

Too many unforced errors and we've not been able to cope when pressed. We've been trying to pass it out from the back for 83 minutes and we've got across the halfway line less than half a dozen times from it. We have to be more clever.

 

I think there has been a few poor performances. But they were always going to be better, our only chance was wanting it more and don't think we have!

 

You think Ballard has been an embarrassment?

If we were going to set up like that just play 5 at the back like Leeds. Knew there’d be a big gap in quality but **** me haven’t laid a glove

 

Trying to pass it out from the back despite them closing down rapidly and forcing multiple errors.

 

Looked poor? We haven’t f*cking turned up man we’ve done absolutely nothing. I can’t remember us stringing 5 passes together. Pressing their midfield. Not expecting 10 seconds on the ball when we get it. They’re passing the ball as if they’re playing in slippers. If we lose but we leave everything on the pitch I’ve no issue.

 

As much as they've had possession and control of the game, they've scored from an own goal and a mistake.
