    It's a hell of a lesson for our lads though. This is the level you need to get to, this is how quickly a PL team is on you when you have the ball.

    Gulf is even bigger than I was expecting, totally dominated. Unlucky with the goal but can’t say we don’t deserve to be behind. Still think we should have went 5 at the back, can’t see a way how we are going to hurt them. Let’s hope they tire or start to sit back and get nervy

    Massively missing Paddy today on the right for me. We've got no outlet on that side whatsoever and Gordon has got Hume on toast unfortunately.

    I'd have liked to see us have more attacking threat but I didn't really expect it. Other than that I'm reasonably happy with that, not the score but our performance. Clarke can do better and Hume is obviously having a tough game but there's not a lot we can do about that beyond going to three at the back.
