So, the majority are in favour of a boom and bust policy with a bit of finger crossing in the hope we stay up?

    Pleasure and pain?

In fairness we were 2 dreadful refereeing decisions away from staying up last time: -
    Rescinded penalty decision at Burnley.
Appalling lack of offside decision at home to Chelsea - Willian's hairdo was in the lino's eyes.

However we can't rely on that and I easily recall the depression and misery of the 2 relegations. Then the dire seasons back in the Championship and succession of poor managers.

That's the issue. Going up is fine. It's managing coming down has been our failing.

Nothing to do with making things easier jck, my desire to see the 'big' clubs bugger off on their merry way is to try and allow the league to be reset in favour of the sport itself rather than being tilted towards allowing a handful of greedy, self serving entities with horribly plastic fans to use every opportunity as a way of making yet more money beyond the obscene amounts they already rake in and to solidify their own positions at the head of the table.

The Premier League was a breakaway started by a handful of s wanting a bigger share of the money and the super league was an even worse example of the same behaviour.... And until the fans revolted the 'big' clubs were all for it...

So let's throw them out to go play in a meaningless league designed to make money and little else whilst the rest of us try to make the game more enjoyable again for the majority, not the greedy few...

It's not difficult to apportion blame for the two previous failures at the top level but it's important to remember that we got there.

Beyond that, relegation was handled badly on both occasions and both instances can be blamed on hierarchy decision making at the club. Unfortunately, the culprits are still there and that's the worry.

Tan seems to be the only one who understands football, Solksjaer told the press he had a difference of opinion, Tan replied I want to win football matches how can you have a difference of opinion over that. Malky was told by text why aren`t we attacking and why are we not playing our 8 million striker. Tan on a visist told players take as many shots as you can, the more shots you take the more chances to score. I am not interested in mid table I want to win football games and get promoted. This idea of playing well and losing is beyond belief.

Most clubs can only dream about getting promoted to the premier never mind an FA cup final and League cup final, go and support their owners if you don`t like ours. Oh and pay all the bills yourself/

It was on Sky and WOL, also he has said he wants promotion as it is no fun being in the championship losing money every week. Those who pay to watch a game hardly covers the toilet rolls.
