Don't understand why he's not on corner duty yet, he scored directly from them 28.73 times in the youth team

I see everton's season has basically imploded. macneil inured, Calvert lewin sent off. it's still 0-0 though. enjoy the replay dyche, you said you didn't believe in winter breaks recently.
Why does not conceding a goal matter? If you win every single game you’ve got max points and win every trophy. Can’t do better. Otherwise it’s impossible as if not conceding is important then scoring is important and there’s an infinite number of goals you can score in a season
Yes you can, you can do it without conceding a goal If you ask a manager, they'd rather win a game 2-0 than 3-1 because they'd like the cheek sheet. That's perfection; win with a clean sheet. Obviously, I'd rather win every game 6-5 though
Why is it? What difference does a clean sheet make? Also what’s perfect. Is 2-0 perfect or 3-0? If 3-0 is what’s 4-0?
Key word here mate is "perfect" Win and clean sheet in every game is THE maximum you can ask for. Winning whilst conceding isn't a "perfect" game Perfection would also include not misplacing a pass, not committing a foul and generally zero mistakes, etc. An impossible possibility. Edit; in reality, I was talking the piss following MITO's claim you have to be "perfect" to beat Man City. You don't, you just have to be better. No team will ever be perfect
'Memories of Arse beating us to the 1989 title on goals scored springs to mind. Painful memories at that too.
Yeah but you could win every game 1-0 and then another team comes along and wins every game 2-0 surely that would be better ffs now I am being a twat Sorry Z
See the sim of football is to win. It’s not about keeping clean sheets. So a perfect season would be winning every game to me, doesn’t matter how it’s done. As I say, if you’re saying you have to not concede to be perfect, how many do you have to score to be perfect? Or does that not matter - in which case why does how many goals you score not matter but how many you concede is?
he was being really pedantic but i thought i'd let you all continue on. I'll concede that you need to be "near" perfect to beat city.
No one ever moans at you Saint You are like the sage old towns elder - sat in the corner watching the world burn Waiting for the right moment to impart your words of wisdom
