Anyhow. Have a good day lads. Busy rest of the day grafting /****ting myself about the derby tomorrow.
It's not about everyone else it's me and you.. dick whopper mouse brain etc etc you've talked enough to me now. I won't bother you now just don't bother me
I think the whole sending to the monitor has become a farce too Refs need to grow a pair and stick to the decisions they have made on some occasions Driving me potty that they won’t
If he gets a touch on the ball it's minimal and he still goes over the top of it - that's dangerous in any interpretation and is potentially a leg snapper - right decision for me ... in Rugby if you lift an opposition player whilst tackling you are responsible for how he is brought down - fine rule - immediate red if reckless and exercised without due care etc - the duty of care principle is key for me in football - DCL's lunge was dangerous and reckless...
Said it before and I'll say it again VAR is NOT the problem - how it is being used is ... Just watched The Rugby World Cup - the use of the TMO is brilliant - miked up refs who explain what's going on in real time ... assistant refs help with the technical discussion... all gets sorted very quickly.
??? ... that's high on my daily 'to do' list - but been a bit busy at work until now - apologies to all and thanks for filling in ...
Imagine letting the mags in to decorate Thankfully it was ripped straight down within a few hours. Massive OG though. @SkySports_Keith Understand Newcastle were allowed access to Black Cats Bar by Sunderland to ‘cover & protect’ the #SAFC branding & artwork on the walls ahead of the derby. #NUFC fans will be housed in the hospitality bar (£600 a ticket) & #SAFC were worried about their property being damaged. @SkySports_Keith Sunderland expected the Newcastle decoration to be ‘neutral’ and were shocked when pictures emerged yesterday. #NUFCbranding has been taken down but the damage has been done. In hindsight, #SAFCshould have paid to cover the walls and artwork themselves & big OG been scored.
Only just seen the DCL red card There’s been plenty of bad decisions with VAR but that one is right up there.
@FadgewackeR I apologise for this morning having read back. Let's all hope Sunderland hire a Newcastle physio aswel as the decorators.
Missed the game last night, boring 0-0 by the looks, no contentious decisions, Fadge and Munse to confirm.
I doubt the ref on the pitch really has a choice, otherwise you are going against a room full of officials and monitors, if the ref then fails to change his position he will be made accountable after the game, why did you ignore x y z when we called you over - he shouldn't even be put in that position, otherwise you get jokers like your club demanding an apology. It's all too easy for the fans and pundits to turn on the pitch official, he'd already made his decision, he don't need to make again. Personally I'd say fook off and get someone else to be your monkey. We managed a whole century without this sshite.
