We may not have seen the best from the versatile wing back, having only recently recovered from a horrific knee injury he sustained in training, back in early September, but there's no doubting his pedigree. Injuries to Stuart Dallas, Sam Byram, Jamie Shackleton and Junior Firpo has depleted Daniel Farke's options on the left, whilst Archie Gray continues to look questionable on the right! Should the 17yo sustain an injury, Leeds would be down to bare bones, especially with Luke Ayling departing for Boro. There is not a single club in the Championship that wouldn't want Djed Spence on their books, top three included. Social media lit up this morning, as Leeds fans woke to find out the club had terminated Djed Spence's loan agreement. Whether this is true or not, Spence has proven pedigree at this level, and losing him could have a devastating effect on our season! This would not be the first time that Leeds would take the moral high ground, and rid the club of disruptive influences. A certain Frenchman left Elland Road in 92 to join their arch rivals for pittance; a decision that would propel the red side of Manchester to stardom for years to come. More recently, Pontus Jansson would get on the wrong side of Marcelo Bielsa, resulting in the Swedish International being omitted from the play off semi final which Derby would win 4-2. This won't be a problem for Leeds, but could be a challenge for Cardiff City, Ipswich, West Brom, Birmingham, Middlesbrough and Sunderland. Moore is 31yo, and a Welsh International with 39 caps. I don't think we'll ever know if Spence' departure will have a detrimental impact on our promotion bid, He hardly pulled any trees up and had a detrimental impact on the few occasions he played for us. Not really bothered that he's gone to be honest. Morning all.
As Spence didn't seem a bad footballer, the decision must have been due to off field stuff. If that's the case then the club is correct. We'll never know but have to trust the judgement of those that have seen him for half a season. As usual fans put him on a pedestal without ever having seen him
All Iknow is that something happened, anything from him not liking being played out of position to him being accused of rape! Nobody knows until FARKE or Spurs say something. A surprise but surely they have a cunning plan, don’t they?…….. I remember Emu saying last season we should get Keizer Moore, well this season it’s too late. Hes just a lump up front and FARKE doesn’t play that way and he’s only just looking at using Bamford in that role so can’t see him opting for a 32yo battle tank.
Morning all, Well all that above reads as wild clickbait sensationalism. Spence has a long running reputation as a bad attitude and being disruptive. If Farke wants him gone then good riddance.
This is what I was told. He was subbed off verses West Brom as he wasn't following Farke's orders, then wasn't happy when Farke dropped him for Brum because of this, then threw a wobbler when Firpo went on instead of him. Farke got really pissed because he sat in the dug out with his head phones on in defiance to the decision, he was kept behind after the game and was told then he would be going back, after Farke had a quick meeting with someone in the hierarchy.
Who the **** decided paying Keifer Moore £40k per week was a good idea. I really hope we're going to show moore (pun intended) ambition than that
I know it was his first game back but the nonchalant way he went about things when he came on against Blackburn pissed me off, think I commented about it on the matchday thread. Just something about his swagger that I never took to him
It was two seasons ago when Paddy was injured and we resorted to Dan James up front. Bournemouth bought Moore for £6 million that January and there were lots on here saying no alternatives to Dan James were available. I offered up Kieffer Moore to the derision of more than a few. £6 million was a snip at the time.
Bournemouth bought him when they were going for promotion to the PL. It will have been a promotion clause in his contract. I have my doubts he will be on 40k.
I quite liked his different barnets but more suited to being on an advert for L'Oréal or tresemme..... he can get plenty of part time work on the TV these days instead of sulking in a dugout.... didn't know you had dandruff DJed
