I like what they do in Spain (?) where the tie defaults to the lower league teams ground. I think we should do similar but allow the lower league club to choose where they want the tie If both teams are in same league defer to the cup draw
That sort of thinking would require clear headed thinking and voting. Not something you will easily find at a Premier League meeting with the greedy selfish thinking arseholes that attend them
I think allowing clubs to decide where games are played is a mockery tbh. You play it as it comes out and if it's a draw you replay at the other ground. Otherwise you end up with clubs choosing the financial option rather than the sporting one. I think they should just stop ****ing with the game. Worked perfectly well for over a century before all these ****s came along.
Just common sense to me The lower league can then base their choice on things like financial benefit - great day out - that sort of thing No brainer for me
Yeah and it probably ****s off a load of other people you may or may not be trying to **** off too. Who knows who’s on your “annoy” list. Seemed like every **** at the culmination. What a 24 hours that’s been. Kids stuff. GG didn’t take it well, though. Best check up on him. I’ll raise a pint of lambs blood to your reinstatement this evening.
I have no beef with how it is - it more about the removal of the replay which can be a financial lifeline for lower league clubs Mind is just an idea and tbph I doubt anyone at the FA will be on here and go - hmmmm lmao
How about all PL sides automatically forfeit their cut of gate receipts if playing an EFL side? Why do Liverpool or United need 50% of gate receipts from a 5k crowd at ****ing Burton.
Yeah would be fine with that mate Like I say mine is just an idea for if they were going to get rid of replays
