Just to offer an alternate view to be fair to him. He rarely got played in his actual position, he got dropped for Byram and Firpo and is watching 17 year old midfielder play at right back. Possibly a bit hypocritical of those criticising Oxford’s use of Perkins.
Had that been happening all season then maybe fair enough but it's literally been a couple of weeks plus he did start at right back against WBA which now turns out to be his last appearance for us.
I think it's been mentioned before, there is no recall on Rodon, from what I can gather Spurs had to agree on Spence going back,, which they obviously have.
Correct and prior to that he started 4 games at left back before being switched to his natual position as soon as we had our usual left back fit again. After 2 months out injured the guy should have be ecstatic to get 5 starts in a row.
We seem to have an unhealthy aversion to full backs and a unnatural addiction to wingers. We are a strange club. It drives me crazy, it really does.
Don’t know anything about spence’s time at Leeds. Do know he had a rep for bad attitude at boro hence they shipped him out to forest where he had his only good season to date. Talented lad, wouldn’t be the first to piss a career down the drain if he keeps this up.
